Here's a quick demo video in our workshop of two rope tension bass drum that we currently have for sale. Both drums are tuned to medium-low tension and are recorded with an AKG D112 about three feet away and a modded Oktava MK 219 as a room mic. There is no EQ, compression or any other type of processing on the recording.
18"x20" bass:
Figured curly maple and poplar shell with maple and bubinga hoops and laser engraved ears. Finished with Epifanes marine varnish.
15"x24" bass:
Mahogany and poplar shell with maple hoops. Finished with Epifanes marine varnish.

Our prototype acrylic rope-tension snare was a big hit at the Deep River Ancient Muster this year. Here is a little bit of video from when the drum was making the rounds through the jam session Friday evening.
The drum features an 18x16 clear seamless acrylic shell, laser-cut and engraved leather ears, a multi-timbral modern marching snare system with 6 gut strands and 6 steel-wound nylon strands, and blue LEDs just under the batter side bearing edge for an awesome visual effect in night-time performances.

Were proud to announce the first in a new line of club kits well be rolling out over the course of the next year! Named in honor of a well-loved Boston area club that unfortunately closed its doors a few years ago, The Abbey is a small kit with a big sound. This all-maple kit features a 10-ply 5.5x14 snare with a Trick throw-off and Pure Sound snares, 8-ply 16x20 kick, 8-ply 8x12 tom, 8-ply 14x14 floor tom and Radio King lugs. The kit shown here is sporting our weathered ebony satin finish, but you can customize it with any color you would like at no additional cost. $1300+shipping for the 4-piece kit/$1000+shipping for the kick and toms without the snare.
