After months of careful research and meticulous craftsmanship, we've faithfully recreated one of the earliest registered Staunton chess sets ever produced by Jaques of London.
Inspired by the original No. 2880 set, this historic design was highlighted by renowned chess collector Alan Fersht, who explained that the number 2/2880 indicates a Carton Pierre casket, while 880 represents the 880th set produced during the early 1851–52 period.
