I have been away from the Thames foreshore for a while. Due to annoying back and hip problems, I had to give it a break.
I'm pleased to say that I am back in action again.
The video you are about to see was filmed during a wet late morning / early afternoon. The low tide was predicted to be not a good one but I decided to adventure myself in the rain.
Little did I know what was about to happen.
I found a coin hoard but what exactly is a hoard? It's a collection of coins or other objects that have been buried in the ground.
I had previously found two hoards in the past (one on the foreshore of the Thames back in 2015) and one in a field in farm land.
What is special about this hoard here is the number of coins found in the same area altogether.
I had with me Panos aka @Mudlark_theGreek and our group of coins found had a total of 82.
Anyway that was a good welcome back to the River Thames foreshore.
I hope you enjoy the video.
