I glanced back at when I unlocked Cutting Beam technology, the cornerstone of our offensive, and it really wasn't that many years back. After a century of peaceful buildup and timelapses, now the turns crawl by as we swim through an endless sea.
Not of the stars, but of blood.

I think it really says something that I had this footage resting on my hard drive for actual days, forgetting to process and upload it. Its so tough to LP this game in subtle ways. Its really good at demanding you take it seriously.
Just like you have to divide up the budget between research and other needs like construction, maintenance, and savings, you have to divide your brain up to play SOTS and talk about it.
Not to mention there are times where just not a lot is happening. In future series, Im going to work on only having the camera on when it deserves to be. A very different style from my usual zero-editing approach-")
