This video was shot live at Claymills, Burton-upon-Trent. Claymills is a Victorian Effluent Pumping Station. It was active from 1885 to 1969. It was de-commissioned in 1971 and was due to be demolished, however, the person from the Council who was involved in signing the demolition order refused to do it as he was an enthusiast. My friend and I were on holiday in Burton-upon-Trent visiting this attraction and decided spontaneously to do my 17K thank you Live. We had a private tour and all Claymills wanted for the trouble was a donation which we gladly gave. After the tour we were allowed to look around at our own leisure.
The restoration started in 1993 and still an ongoing project.
