I decided to upload this video that was taken from my late Grandad's Camcorder. This was in the days when people would think he was filming footage for the News as a camcorder would be pretty bulky and weighty. I have decided to upload with royalty free music, please see the link below.

I have taken the bits out with my Grandma and Grandad as it didn't feel right to include them. Before my Grandad passed away he said I could use any of his footage for my YouTube channel, thank you Grandad. I feel it's a good snapshot of 1980s Mevagissey. If I ever have a holiday there I might consider doing a "Then and Now" video.
The footage was of higher quality than I remember 1980s camcorder recordings being. The camera work was for home use only so it's a little wobbly at times. However, I hope you find it interesting as a comparison to life today.
