Hey y'all! I went to the Banksy exhibit this weekend and I am still processing it. Some of it I LOVED. Some of it hurt my heart. A lot of it provoked me. And I walked away asking God a hard question:
Why am I playing it so safe in my own art?

In this episode I'm talking through what I saw at the exhibit, the piece that made me and my husband both tear up, and what it stirred up in me about boldness, truth, and making art that actually says something for the Kingdom. I bring in the story of Bezalel from Exodus (the guy God literally filled with His Spirit to be a craftsman) and I land on a question I'm still sitting with....What if you weren't so safe in your art either?

This one is unscripted and a little all-over-the-place. I recorded it the day after the exhibit because I couldn't wait. Consider it a hot take from my heart to yours.
