I sampled around 60 drum patterns from the Syntakt into the Digitakt, and used one of those in this track, with a little bit reduction and sample rate reduction and overdrive. The drums on track 3 was a drum loop from Vintage Vinyl Breaks sampled through the Analog Heat mk1 (back when I had it). The rest is Analog Four, including some hihats :)
All audio is coming from the Digitakt and Analog Four, recorded in one take and with no overdubs. I used the following plugins in post:
- Molotok, one of Tokyo Dawn Labs' free compressors
- SlickEQ, their free EQ
- ToTape6 by Air Windows, a free tape sim
- Limiter6, the paid version of Tokyo Dawn Labs' limiter
