I’m starting the carve of a Millennium Falcon catch-all tray using the 1/4” Ripper roughing bit from High Country Tools. This bit is quickly removing material from the piece of curly sapele.

Next I’ll use a 1/16” diameter ball nose end mill for the finishing pass.
