I have found 13 books with female main characters that are 30+ years old and I want to share them with you in this video! We know that like a fine wine, we only get better with age, but with so many hyped BookTok / Bookstagram / BookTube videos the social media darlings tend to have female characters in their late teens or early 20s. Romance books in particular tend to highlight love at these ages, but there is SO much more than can be done! If you expand out to horror, thrillers and fantasy there are so many opportunities to highlight female main characters with more life experience and provide a different perspective on these stories.
