And now on this tape, continuing on from uploads yesterday, we have switched over from the casual horrors of ITV1's failed "Blind Date" replacement and are now on what was then a guarenteed piece of quality: classic-era repeats of "The Simpsons" via Sky One! Post-classic-era episodes didn't outnumber classic-era ones yet so it was far more likely to get the guarenteed good stuff than then not-so-good and for the night of Valentine's Day 2004, as part of Sky One's brief branding of their Simpsons airings on a certain time as "Simpsons Prime", we have most of Season 5 episode "Lady Bouvier's Lover" and all of Season 6 ep "Grampa vs. Sexual Inadequacy" (a very Abe-centric Valentine's Night, I guess!). Given the time period, this has a surprisingly low amount of cursed and nastily-aged stuff in this part...but that's gonna change pretty fast in the next upload and I apologize in advance.

This is ridiculous and certainly not the way this stuff should be preserved given the Very, Very Obvious but...as soon as I plugged my TiVo box into my VCR to see how itd look, I got a temptation I couldnt stop myself from doing. So this is absolutely going to mess with people if this is still up online in a decade or so buuuuut, yep! First VHS recording of broadcast TV I or anyone in my family has done in 19 years. My god, what have I done? WHY have I done?
As much as this IS indeed an experiment, figured itd be a kick to someone other than myself if I uploaded how this turned out anyway...heck, this may not be the only upload like this but dont feel like its going to be a significant habit, as again...an advertisement on how to preserve stuff from this media era this is *not*... xD
