The Morrigi continue to confuse me in the weirdest ways, but I guess they're our first opponent. Get em, boys! ... Hey, where are you dumb birds going?!

In spite of the Rebellions sabotage of our equipment, the brave Imperial star fleet continues to advance. This time, were laying siege to one of their toughest strongholds.
As if the grind against their orbital defenses wasnt good enough, the AIs ready to give as good as they got, with the legendary Admiral Ackbar at the head of the Alliance fleet.

The opening waves were particularly brutal on both fleets, and SolForce has ground out a costly siege. Were still there, and still fighting. Smashing ships together until our all-important early cruisers can make the difference.
Already, the Morrigi economy is in freefall. Fledgling worlds burned by scouts, or in one particularly humiliating case, that lost tanker, fleets smashed to dust, a homeworld bombed every year...

Since the start of the campaign a century ago, the western front has been, for us, quiet. Our Liir allies have skirmished back and forth with the enemy, but it seemed like something we could ignore for a time, as we executed our Space Schlieffen Plan.
Those conditions no longer obtain. Weve wrapped up the Morrigi as an imperial force, but the insurgent Zuul persist, and require multiple cruiser fleets to suppress their rabid assault.
While in the west, the Tarka and Hiver juggernaught has finally arrived on our doorstep. Alone, the Liir are faltering across the front, and worlds burn.
They need everything we can send, right now, or were both doomed. Liir in the immediate, and humanity to a slow, crushing death march from the west. Our fates are tied together.")
