This video is actually of two 55-car trains coupled together as a single movement. The first segment is pulled by three GE locomotives while the second segment is powered by one EMD and two GE units running as mid-train helpers. My estimate of its length is about 1.67 miles based on an estimated speed of 15 MPH and an elapsed time of 6:40 to pass the camera. The local railfan who was watching with me said it was the longest train he’d ever seen on the loop.
