This is a guided meditation session focused on your Vagus Nerve and in particular, we are working toward lowering your Vagal Tone. It is best practiced in a quiet space and maybe easier with headphones.
Over the course of the last eight years, my work in the area of Vagal Tone and Polyvagal theory has been a game-changer. These techniques are the same that I use on a daily basis along with what I share with my one-to-one clients.
If you would like to work with me on a one-to-one basis please message me directly. My private consultancy fees start from $250. jc@justincaffrey.com
This video is a combination of simple physical stimulations of vagus nerve points, along with some guided connections to the breath and body. It is designed to lower your Vagal Tone, helping you relax and to find some ease within your day.
It is best practiced first thing in the morning or during a difficult morning.
As someone who recovered from the severe trauma of losing my son, I know the importance of finding some ease within the body. I witnessed Joshua's last breaths, and this image aroused PTSD and severe anxiety and depression.
This video is recorded live with a group participating in my online course (www.remotetribe.co.uk), where we dive deep into the neuroscience of stress, mindfulness, and recovery.
Recovery from whatever loss or stress you have suffered is possible. It does require a desire to do the work and a commitment to show up. Remember to seek help, speak to friends and find a therapist or coach that is right for you.
Hope & Love, Justin.
