Part 2 of the 10m/CB Band Mini-Horse build! A DX antenna for less than £15!
Having had success with my 6m Mini-Horse I decided to design one for 10m and at the same time find out the tuning required for anyone wanting to build one for the CB frequencies which are just below the 10m amateur band.
I will use this as a temporary installation in the spring/summer months when 10m is more active as a band. The antenna is simple to put together and dismantle again. In the first video I made a test-build and tuned the mini-horse for the first time. In this follow-up video I show you all you need to know in terms of the measurements, construction methods and assembly tips & tricks.
Parts 1 & 2 show you all you need to know to build your own DX antenna! The only parts you probably don't already have to build this are easy to obtain and can cost less than £15 new!
