Kevin and Nova from Darkwolf Artisans embark on a budget van conversion project with their newly acquired 1991 Ford Econoline. With a total budget of $10,000, they aim to create a fully functional and stylish camper van. From demoing the interior to installing new cabinets, flooring, and a modern electrical system, they show you every step of the transformation.
Key Features of the Build:
Initial Assessment: Evaluating the condition of the 1991 Ford Econoline, including cosmetic updates, rust treatment, and overall interior layout.
Kitchen Transformation: Installing new cabinets, a standard-size fridge, a wine fridge, an acrylic sink with a pull-down sprayer faucet, and LVT flooring.
Living Area: Replacing old furniture with a custom-built day bed and sofa, adding ample storage, and installing Puck lights in the ceiling.
Electrical System: Featuring a Victron inverter charger, 200 amp hours of lithium battery, and 340 watts of Renogy flexible solar panels.
