in our 10gb Home Network Setup, we are using a Synology DS1621+ with a Synology 10GB network card and an ASUS RT-AX89X with both 10-base -T and an SFP+ ports to connect 10gb devices with ease.
also, for our 10gb Home Network Setup, ASUS has also supplied us with a pcie 10gb SFP+ network card to enable our computer 10gb connectivity. keep in mind that in the 10gb world, every device must have 10gb connectivity otherwise the entire "chain" will drop to match the slowest link in the chain.
