What is a high place- a high place was a place of worship, usually located on the tallest hill in the territory topped with an altar. High places became demonic worship, involving sexual perversion , human sacrifice, etc. sacrifices made to demons cause the high places to become demonic power centers releasing forces of evil in their region. God gave all an assignment to tear down the high places.
