The base is smooth cobblestone with a width and length of 100 blocks for a total of 10,000 blocks for the base alone. The total number of blocks is 19,604.
It is made out of half diamond blocks half gold blocks. This is not a solid structure, the inside is completely hollow.
This took five hours to complete from planning to finish with only the aid of two people and minor help from a third. It was finished in one session.
The blocks look strange because I'm using Doku's RPG texture mod. A recent update broke texture wrapping, so all the gold blocks have flames on them.
