Using the Novint Falcon with Half Life 2 requires a mod called Haptics-Life 2. You can get it from here:

It may not look like it but the feedback is very strong and makes aiming more of a challenge when shooting. There are pistol grips for the Falcon that have yet to hit retail (as of the date of posting this video.)
