In a major breakthrough, around 1,500 beagles have been bought out of Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin—one of the largest lab dog rescues in U.S. history.
The deal, led by Big Dog Ranch Rescue, means these dogs will leave a life of cages and testing behind.
But none of this would have happened without the recent direct action led by Wayne Hsiung—and the protestors and rescuers who risked everything to expose what was happening inside.
They’ll be transported to Florida for urgent vet care, then sent to rescues across the U.S. for rehoming.
