The final boss of lying on the internet has just reared its ugly head
A medical research company priding itself on being completely human sourced and not-at-all AI is evidently ALL AI
So-called Research Gold is service meant for medical professionals to cite important sources for research and reviews
They frame it as a super-well-meaning website that’s backed by real-world people who are established in their field - but 404 media found that the employees listed online are all either AI generated and completely made up, OR just unaffiliated people mentioned without their consent
Nearly every means of communication with the company results in talking to an AI bot of some kind, and if you ASK if it’s an artificial intelligence, it’ll just straight-faced lie to you and constantly attempt to kite the conversation towards a means to invoice you for potentially THOUSANDS of US dollars
