Fact No.1
If you somehow remove all the empty space in our human body atoms, the humanity volume will be reduced till a small dice
The atoms that make up all the stuff around us seem solid but are in fact over 99.99999 per cent empty space. An atom consists of a very tiny, dense nucleus surrounded by a cloud of electrons, spread over a proportionately enormous range. They thus occupy a huge amount of space.
Fact No.2
Black Holes are not black, they are multicoloured
Black holes aren’t black. They’re very dark, sure, the gravity is extremely high so nothing even light cannot escape, but they aren’t black. They glow, slightly, giving off light across the whole spectrum, including visible light. This radiation is called “Hawking radiation”.
Fact No.3
Run! Run a lot and gain more mass
People usually run so that they can lose some body weight and be slim but, according to the physics concept of variation of mass with speed, the more you speed, the more mass you gain. It is a mathematically and experimentally proven fact. But don’t worry the mass you gain is negligible, to gain a noticeable mass you should travel close to the speed of light
Fact No.4
The Whole observable Universe is less than 5% of the Total
The Universe, we know is so gigantic observing many massive celestial objects. Just look at our Earth, it is so big that you cannot completely explore it. But is that all? No, the whole observable universe is less than 5 percent of the entire Universe.
A question now arises, what are other things that we cannot see? They are dark matter and dark energy. These forms of matter and energy are not observed but needed so that our observations come in accord with our knowledge.
Fact 5 . Some Particles Can Communicate Faster than Light
According to Albert Einstein, nothing can travel faster than light. But in the quantum world, particles are able to perform such communication known as quantum entanglement, they can do this communication faster than light. Two entangled particles can share information instantaneously irrespective of the distance between them.
Fact 6 . Time Freezes Inside a Black Hole
One of the most revolutionary discoveries of the 20th century was the relativity of time.
Time freezes inside the black hole not for the one who is falling into the black hole but to a distant observer the time inside freezes. This is possible due to gravitational time dilation. For black holes, time, a second becomes infinitely long that there exists singularity, meaning time tends to freeze. So, a distant observer would observe time nearly paused or frozen inside a black hole.
Fact No.7. Saturn Can be a boat in water
Saturn is a huge planet, the second-largest among eight planets in the solar system. But density is less than water i.e. 0.7 g/cc so according to the theory of flotation, if we managed the amount of required water, Saturn can float on water and we can use it as a boat.
Fact No.8. Rubber is less elastic than steel
We generally understand that material is elastic if it is stretchable and regains its shape quickly when the stretching force is removed. But according to physics, Steel is very more elastic than rubber. This is the reason why it is used for making bridges and buildings. When deformed, it can quickly regain its original shape, better than rubber.
Fact No.9 A wrist watch on Jupiter Runs Slower than on Earth
According to gravitational time dilation, the higher the gravitational field slower runs the time. If we compare Jupiter and Earth, Jupiter is massive and hence has a stronger gravitational field than that of Earth. So, according to physics, a clock must run slower in Jupiter than on Earth.
Fact No. 10 . Water Can Boil and Freeze at the Same Temperature
Decreasing pressure can lead to a decrease in boiling point and an increase in freezing point. So, at a temperature of 273.16 K (0.01 C or 32.02 F) and a pressure of 0.006 Pascals, water can freeze as well as boil. All three states of water coexist. This is not only true for water but for other matters too.
