My sound patches: espenkraft.com • In the 80s it was very common to have long fade outs at the end of songs. It made it easy for radio jockeys to talk over the fade-out, introducing the next song or whatever.
There were exceptions though and here are 10 songs from the 80s with full stops at the end.

To prevent the video from being taken down I had to degrade the audio in the clips, as well as make the video a little more "choppy". You get the idea.
