10. Blue Marlin (Unofficial)
When it comes to "big catches", just about every fisherman worth his salt has a "it was this big!" story, and that's perfectly fine. Allow them to have those stories! But, when an actual true story comes along, and then gets ignored because of minor issue? That is sad, and it's not to be ignored.
For this is a case of technicalities getting in the way of the facts and clear evidence in regards to catching a massive Blue Marlin. To understand the story we must go back in time to 1984, where a man named Gary Merriman was in Hawaii. He was there as a guest of former Atlanta Hawks owner (the NFL team) Rankin Smith. Wanting to enjoy his time, Merriman went out and did some fishing, and caught a massive 1649 pound Blue Marlin. This is impressive, and was a catch truly highlighted his skill with a rod and reel. He even had a fishing shop in Atlanta at the time.
In terms of pure size and weight, this Blue Marlin wass the world record holder, beating out the previous owner by a couple hundred pounds. Which you would think would be celebrated. But...apparently Merriman didn't use an "approved" line and leader (via the IGFA who carefully monitors and checks all world record claims when it comes to fish), and because he didn't follow those exactly rules, he was not allowed the title of biggest Blue Marlin ever caught. Which again, is honestly really sad.
Despite this, Merriman kept the fish, and put it up at his shop, as he should when you think about it. And though he may not have had the record, he knew that he caught a Blue Marlin that no one had caught before.
9. Swordfish
There are sometimes creature that we don't know what to make of, and Swordfish are definitely one of those creatures of nature where don't know why it was created to look like that. Regardless of the how and whys, it exists in the oceans. And fisherman have tried to catch the biggest and best ones, and to many fishermen, Swordfish are some of the best fish "trophies" you can catch. But the honor of biggest catch goes to a legendary man named Louis Marron.
In 1959, Marron battled a mighty Swordfish for two hours to reel in a Swordfish that was a 1182 pound beauty that was not only a record at the time, by a good margin, but it's a record that lives to this day. And recall, that's basically 60 years of fishing, and no one has broken it.
So this should prove to you that regardless of what kind of fish is out there in the oceans, if it's desirable in any way, then there will be fishermen willing to go all out to get it. Even if it means fighting that fish for hours on end.
8. Tiger Sharks
People often forget that sharks are a fish, they're just a fish that is massive, and aggressive at times, and aren't afraid to eat just about anything in sight should the opportunity arise. So though they are feared, they're also seen as a prize, especially to fisherman who are brave enough to go after them. Because catching a shark means you have some serious strength and guile.
A great example of this came in 1964, when a man named Walter Maxwell caught a massive Tiger Shark. Tiger Sharks are known to be very aggressive, and dangerous, and are considered one of the most dangerous sharks in the world. Making this catch very impressive in numerous ways. This record stood for 40 years, then, a fisherman named Kevin Clapson came around, and he caught a 1785 pound Tiger Shark. So a new king was born so to speak.
But regardless, both of these catches are to be appreciated, as it couldn't have been easy to reel in. What's more, Clapson may have the world record on lock for the rest of time. And it has nothing to do with size or weight of the shark. You see, sharks are starting to be protected, and Tiger Sharks are included in that list. In 2004, it was legal to fish for sharks. But now, you can't, with very few exceptions. So unless that law changes in the near future, Kevin Clapson will have the infinite record of biggest Tiger Shark caught.

Caught In Nova Scotia on October 26th, 1979, Ken Fraser caught a Bluefish Tuna that weighed in at an incredible 1496 pounds. That's right, this singular tuna almost weighed a ton and a half! But what a catch it was, and it's a world record in terms of the biggest Bluefish Tuna ever caught.
But just as important, this fish was caught LEGALLY. You see, Canada has very strict fishing policies, especially when it comes to Nova Scotia.

15. The Hamburglar Strikes!
Anyone who has ever been to a McDonalds knows that they have some very memorable characters. Including one that is very mischievous in the form of the Hamburglar. Which, as the name implies, is a character that likes to steal hamburgers from the fast food chain.
What does this have to do with Wal-Mart? Simple, a woman walked into the store one day and was basically dressed as the Hamburglar. Why they thought that this outfit was appropriate for a Wal-Mart is a mystery lost to time. But theres no doubt in anyones mind that this is rather hilarious. Especially when you consider that just behind this woman is a sign for a Big Mac.
Which proves that even the universe likes to create perfect moments inside a Wal-Mart. Although, without the person taking the shot, the moment may have been lost forever.
14. The funny Man In A Dress lol ( meanwhile at walmart..)
As a popular meme would say...but why though?
Here we have a man going about his day in Wal-Mart, but with one very key difference. Mainly, this man isnt in what you might call standard attire. Instead, this man (who is clearly in his sixties) is wearing a dress. The public reaction..
No, really, hes just going about his time while wearing a basic spring dress. And for those who are glad its a still image, youll notice that the skirt of the dress is pretty low cut. Why this man, who is complete with long beard, would want to wear such a thing is beyond me. My guess is that somewhere along the line, he lost a bet, a very big bet. Else, why even bother?
What might get lost in his dress wearing though is that he actually is wearing shoes to match the outfit. No matter the reasons, this is one image youll likely not get out of your head very soon.
13. The T-Rex ( strange)
Its a hard life being a dinosaur. You were the dominant species in the past eras of the world, then a meteor and an ice age wiped out most of your species and other dinosaurs and now youre forced to live life amongst humans, including going to a Wal-Mart to shop for now basic necessities. Its so tragic that this T-Rex has to go and belittle itself when it...wait, what? Oh, thats not an actual T-Rex? Thats just a guy in a T-Rex suit? Duly noted.
Truthfully though, these dinosaur suits have been all the rage the past few years. They dont just show up in places like Wal-Mart, theyre at Comic-Cons, sporting events, and one person actually took on American Ninja Warrior in a dinosaur suit, and succeeded!
What really makes this picture worth it though is that there are two older ladies next to the T-Rex and theyre just as perplexed as we are as to why this person is there in Wal-Mart in the outfit.
In this case, you honestly have to wonder why Wal-Mart actually let him in. It honestly is kind of a security risk if you think about it.

12. Father Of The Year
For all you parents out there, or people who are thinking of having children, you know better than most that the worst thing to do when you have a young child is go shopping with them. Theyll often never be quiet, ask and beg for things youre not going to get, and then whine and cry when you dont get them. its a never ending and honestly exhausting thing, but, you still have to do it.
But for this guy? Yeah, he takes things to another level, because whether this picture is to be believed or not, hes not paying attention to his child, and is having them try and push the cart theyre on instead of leading them ride inside the basket.
Again, we dont have the context here, but thats not exactly the proper way to treat a child. Even if hes playing a game, this can end badly REALLY quickly. Guess well have to hope it ended well for all parties involved.
11. Too Much Skin
Its a fact of life that people can have all kinds of body types, and should be comfortable with them even at their worst. Or at the very least, if they arent comfortable, be willing to work hard to get better so that they can be more comfortable. However, if you are a person who has an excess of body shall we say it is common courtesy to make sure youre clothed enough to not expose all of said excess.
This lady didnt get that memo.
To be honest, I dont even know what Im looking at for the most part. Thats a lot of back skin, and that thin top is not concealing it well at all!
Know your limits, and make sure to respect others with your clothing choices.

This is another that Im going to put under, But why though? Because not only is this man wearing a cheetah outfit, hes actually posing for the camera in this shot! There are so many questions running through my mind its honestly crazy.")
