For many people using a 3d printing, the slicer is the hardest part of 3d printing. With hundreds of combinations of settings, it may seem impossible to produce excellent prints.

This two-part series introduces the viewer to tips I have found useful for creating excellent 3d prints on a range of 3d printers. Many of the tips are demonstrated on Cura 4, Prusa Slicer and Simplify3d.

I use these techniques on my Prusa i3 Mk3, on Creality Ender 3 pro and Ender 5 printers and on multiple Monoprice 3d prints.

Please leave you favorite slicer tips in the comments.

Let's continue to learn things together.
