In this video, I build and test a simple homemade radio circuit powered by a single AA battery while living in a rural radio dead zone. After discovering that both commercial radios and previous DIY radio projects no longer receive stations reliably, I put this circuit to the test. Using a spectrum analyzer, experimenting with coil designs, tuning adjustments, and even a vintage 27MHz RC transmitter, I investigate whether the receiver is actually working and what happens when radio signals are extremely weak.
