My regular batteries are all used up, can a Lipo from a Vape power a micro drone? If so, how many minutes flight time will it get?
This video shows the disassembly of an old vape pen to get at the battery and repurpose it for flying the drone.
Along the way several challenges are shown, one of which was fixed with a hammer.
When attached with a rubber band, the battery and drone took to the air and set a flight record for me of time in the air. It did brilliantly on the bigger and heavier battery.
It's a game changer for flight times on these small micro drones!
