Stephen Amell is not the right actor to play Oliver Queen in the new DC Universe, even if he had a good stint as Green Arrow in the Arrowverse.
In 2012 Amell made his debut as the DC character in the first season of Arrow.
Arrow was successful right away because of the actor's ability to embody both Oliver Queen's deadly vigilante side and his playboy millionaire persona.
In the second season of the show, Grant Gustin's Barry Allen was introduced, establishing The Flash. The Arrowverse, a whole DC TV universe, was ultimately created by Arrow.
