Sab and Carlos came to visit this week since restrictions have been starting to ease up and we can have guests again. I actually had something else originally planned for this week but wanted to do a project with these two before they left. Its always a blast getting to work with them since it takes me out of my usual bubble of what Im used to arranging.
Adriana actually had the idea that it would be fitting for Senpai to play sax and we actually toyed with the idea of Sab playing senpai (Sabpai?) but went with Carlos since Tenor Sax probably would fit Senpais voice better. We managed to still get Sab on this and she did an incredible piano part and did all of the backing sax parts that are featured in the original song too!
Hope you enjoy what we did here! I also got new curtains and I think they look better than the old ones. Let me know what you think! Next week I have a cover from a game that people have been asking me to do music from since the beginning. Now that the new one came out last month, I guess its finally time to hit up this fighting game...

On my first playthrough of Omori, I came very close to completely missing this boss fight. One of my favorite things about Omori is its incredible depth in that even the most vigourous completetionists will have a difficult time squeezing everything they can out of this game. This fight happens in an entire section of the game thats very possible to completely miss and it happened to be one of the coolest and most fun sections of the game for me, which make me really excited as Im going through my second playthrough exploring another route.
This song is absolutely stellar and it was a treat to give it a go. I knew going in that this was going to be a passion project and I wanted to really go all out with all the dumb ideas I had for a boss battle involving morbidly depressed bakers. I can count the times Ive left my house during this pandemic on one hand and can now safely say one of them was to procure bread for this video. Ironically enough I couldnt actually eat any of the bread since we filmed this outside of my fasting window, but I am excited to have some sandwiches soon.
This cover has a ton of layers. There are the mainstays of my covers, two rhythm guitars, bass, drums, explosions, and 6 layers of lead guitars, a full orchestra with added accordion and solo string vsts, along with four layers of classical guitar, ska chords, and very subtle vocals punching the upbeats with GO. So much went into creating something massive that the mix was a real challenge. I brought up the classical guitars since theyre my favorite part of this song and I thought it really added an italian flair with the style I played it in.
Lots of work went into this one, it almost didnt get done in time, but I hope you enjoy! COME FOR THE BREAD, STAY FOR THE SHRED!

Our cover of MILF was so positively recieved that we had to do more. Jack, Adriana, and I are all obsessed with the soundtrack to this game and have been overjoyed that we can get to play these incredible songs in this way for you guys. While MILF really lends itself to shred guitar, this song was much more fun to play because of its tasteful and saucy melodies. Jack and I really enjoyed playing this one and had a ton of fun writing solos that followed the feel and back and forth nature of FNFs tracks. I also really enjoyed arranging the song to be longer while not making it drag too much. Overall, every part of doing this song was a treat and I hope you guys will want to hear more!
Adriana returned again to play the part of metronome after going so hard for the last video. I promised her that this tempo was a bit slower so she agreed to do it again. Hopefully shell still want to do it again because it adds so much to the video, but I will totally understand if she opts to just green screen in cartoon gf next time to save her neck! We still havent found a way to play these songs on a moving limo safely so please forgive us for that yet again...
