In this video I'm looking deeper into the Tesla pancake coil connected like coil with trigger winding from the motors.
The purpose is to see if we can also use the negative like output but without transistor so we can go to higher voltages and only need a diode to replace the base collector diode from the transistor.
The result is clearly showing that we are indeed able to get results like with the motor and transistor setup.

I used 2 types of pancake coil. The one build exactly like on drawing & Patend from Tesla work best with 62V on capacitor. The other type with speaker wire, where we have 2 layers give for same amount of wire only 52V.
So alltough the 2 layer coil is easier to build, the one layer gave better result in my setup.
