This took forever for me to finish. It was hard to keep myself incentivized to continue this, but finally it's over and I'm happy with the results.There's not a lot of new things about the run compared to the glitch run to talk about, so I can run things down pretty quickly. On lap 2 I managed to find a way to take the zipper a lot sharper, which is the biggest new timesave in the run. I was very lucky getting it so lap 3 zipper was quite tedious to optimize, but with help from Marth the lap 3 zipper was optimized to a satisfying degree. Lap 3 wavy section was not so well off compared to lap 2 either. I couldn't get a wheelie trigger in the middle of the section so I had to go to the side of the zipper to get it. The first ring saw a new improvement lap 3 where I managed to get another wheelie trigger. It set the alignment off for the second wallride so I had to correct my path while getting the zipper boost, wheelie trigger and turnskip as usual. I believe that overall the wheelie trigger is worth it and made up for the worse wavy section. The last thing worthy of note is that for the last ramp lap 3 I jumped to get behind the fence, which I previously thought was impossible. Seems like it depends on QM, and I had to this, because I had bad QM getting behind the fence by doing the usual method. After jumping to get behind the fence I have to hold neutral. When hitting the pole I tilt ever so slightly left for one frame, then using max tilt to go right. I have to do this because starting by tilting right would give me a bad angle upon landing and I can't stay behind the fence. If I tilt right before I hit the pole, I'd clip too much to the right to even be able to land back on track. Also, by tilting as left as possible I was able to get the boost from the boost panel even earlier.The speedometer labelled as "km/h" on the bottom left is normal vehicle speed (most commonly used speedometer). The values for this speedometer are adjusted by what event's are happening to the character (such as speed boosts, airtime, texture of road being driven upon, etc.). The speedometer labelled as "SPEED" in the bottom right is a much more accurate speed reading (The XYZ speed). The values for this speedometer are taken from the change in the character's position between two consecutive frames. We've obtained a Toad's Factory glitch run with the benefits of using Flame Runner. Now there's no more trouble having to deal with a wide turning vehicle like the Spear. Previously, the problem with using Flame Runner here was the inability to reach the earliest box cycle on lap 1 (even though it possibly would have regained the time on the cycles later in the run). However, thanks to the discovery of the new stomper strat, we were able to reach this early cycle. This in combination with the better turning of the Flame Runner for the rest of lap 1 allowed us to reach an earlier box cycle on lap 2 (and by extension, lap 3) that we weren't fast enough to reach with Spear previously. The box cycles surprisingly had perfect timing. Everything went our way...well, at least until the tractors at the end of lap 3. The tractor cycle was in the worst position, completely covering the nearest boost pad after the lake cut. To make matters worse, the other boost pad was too far away, so using it was slower than just waiting for the tractor to move out of the way. Desperately aiming for the sub, we made a new discovery. If we landed on the tractor from enough air with the right angle, we could somehow hit the boost pad from beneath it. We made use of the tractor's edge to obtain the airtime we needed. To our surprise, tricking from the bumps over the lake the way we did was the fastest way to reach the tractor's edge with this airtime. All of this made our lap 3 ending turn out the way it did. Hurray for sub 1:36!TAS Origins, The Sequel - Red Bandanas Finds Work: After driving around on a paper-thin rainbow for days on end, fearing that the spectacle would suddenly turn to vapor, Red Bandanas decided to stop once and for all and parked his Spear by the finish line. He was tired and his bowel wouldn't stop complaining for food. But to get food, you need money, and Bandanas needed money quick, so he obtained a well paid job at the local factory run by Big Toad. Red did not know what was made at the factory, but the procedure was to put whatever it was in these so-called 'mystery boxes' and sell them to clans in another country. The bandana ape did not want to meddle in the factory's business, so he took his role as a watch guard. The factory covered a large area that Red needed the access to in order to stop intruders from stealing the goods. Bandanas was given a Bowser Bike to quickly maneuver the tight corners of the area. Along the way they realised the Treeway was cursed to make people lost and waste time. One time they ended up back at master Luke's hut, but they had to find the end of the rainbow no matter what. They were determined. After countless trials they were about to give up, but then a random woodsman appeared who called himself Malleo. He guided them around the forest to the end of the rainbow where they found the biggest treasure of them all. The spear. To show his thanks Funky Kong stole the spear and showed the girl how to drive on top of the rainbow. A crazy cameraman named Sware came out of nowhere and followed Funky Kong's every move. And because of bullshitty problems with movie maker, it took me two weeks to upload it (I'll come back to this later).About this project:After my BCWii olympics, I took a break from making huge projects. Still, I started to wonder what my next big project should be. 4-5 months later (October-November 2016) I decided to make a lowtrick compilation, that I would work on and off with for the next 6 months. My goal was, that the lowtricks should be optimized to the max possible level, so I could make the best lowtricks to every ramp. I'm not sure if I completely succeded in this, but I was very close. I actually finished gathering "all" the lowtricks right before summer vacation... But I wasn't satisfied with some of the clips I had. And thus I began to redo them, until all my clips were as good as I wanted. I also managed to find some new lowtricks along the way. Then it was October and I started editing this video. I actually finished editing a couple weeks ago... But Movie Maker said no to rendering the video. I tried a lot of things, but the only thing that worked was splitting the clips apart, saving the clips individually and then put the clips together again in Movie Maker. Only thing was, that the quality of the video became horseshit. But my friend Snoopydog wanted to help me. I had to send my clips to him via Mediafire (which took a horrendous time btw... No I mean seriously, it took a week full of failure-uploads before he got them). He could save the movie in good quality... in Movie Maker -_-. There's still some nearly invincible lags until 5:03, which you probably only can see, if you watch the video in slowmotion. Finally a new upload!!! I worked very hard making this run, but the run itself still has some weak spots, that were just too hard for me to improve on. The highlights of my run is definitely the new strats that i found.If I sum up the weak spots, that I think can be improven, then it's the two first miniturbos at the first spiral, the triple turn section (didn't do a lot of testing), the turn before the downward spiral (this is hell to do, because getting the extra bounce in the landing strat is based on pure luck), the little area between the spiral SC and the long jump SC, The U-turn after the SC, The turn on the bridge and the ramp strat in the end (when I think, I've optimized the strat more, it ends up being slower and so on).This track is hell to TAS, and I wouldn't recommend trying to do so. This was originally going to be a part of a TAS-battle, but many people didn't finish their TAS. It ended up only being me and Simon, who finished our TASes, and I think none of us whould reccomend people trying to TAS this track, unless they're suicidal (speaking on other's behalf here).I made this run as if it was a 2 lap track, which it is in the CTGP version, so therefore I used 2 shrooms in the lap. I'm really proud of this run, and it can definitely keep up to my BCWii TAF, so there's nothing to worry about. You may think it doesn't, but that's only because Heart of China demands more shrooms, if you want to do stuff, and i needed to use my 3 shrooms at the beginning, so it was a hard time cracking the shroom problem. Nonetheless, YOU HAVE TO ENJOY THE RUN OR DIEEEEEEEEE... just kidding, just kidding, calm down, calm down, don't kill me please, don't KILL ME PLE- and you just witnissed a murder... jk, don't take that part seriously, i don't know the f*ck going on with that XDThe ultra SC done in this video were shroomless, and it confirms the possibility of 3/3 SC, and i think it's faster, if you then use the shrooms to cut the grass in the turn afterwards.And yes, i did go through the tree at 3:39, and the tree has wall kcl, so basically rapid firehopping the ramp makes it possible to go through the tree. The trees leaves has onsided kcl, which makes it interesting for a shroomless cut shown at 1:37. [MKWii - TAF] Bowsers Castle Wii Freerun Ramoelleus RS 2016-06-27 | When i look at my other freeruns, they pale in comparisin to this... And i'm not even kidding. I get just as amazed by this, as i do by freeruns from the best of other freerunners, even though i know, how i did everything frame to frame. [MKWii] Bowsers Castle Wii Olympics Ramoelleus RS 2016-05-23 | Well, it's been a while... This video has also been a while... Like 2 years...Well, it's true this video has been 2 years underway. I started this project actively, but when i had around 20 clips, my laptop f***** up, and i lost everything. I needed to download chrome again -_-Then i started again got 4 clips, but then i got a new recorder, and in 1 and a half year, i made this. It has truely been under a long way. In the end, i got so bored making it, because of all the trial and error, that it could take months between my sessions making it. In the end i needed TAS for 4#, 2# and 1#, and i have a few failed effects at the number screen, such as 15# etc. There are also pixel fails at the number screens too, since movie maker had a hard time saving the 3,83 GB. The pixel fail in the video clip at 10# was the recorders fault. But all in all, that is nothing, so i don't mind. [MKWii - TAF] Coconut Mall Freerun Ramoelleus RS 2015-12-30 | I'm proud of this run! It was first meant to be me trying to make reostyle lowtricks, but it escalated to this TAF. I found some pretty neat stuff, so enjoy!So, about the run! The REAL freerun begins at 0:57. The first car section could be more optimised, while the others can't. The banister at 1:19 is harder to drive up than the one at 2:44, because it pushes you a bit to the right, so you can't be on top of it. At 1:34 i shouldn't try to drive up the stairs and wallclip up to the mid of it. That was my BIGGEST mistake in this TAF. But when i realised, you can't come past the tree, i was f***ed, since i had ALL my freaking savestated on the staircase. At 2:04 you don't need to go that much to the end of the road to come past into the other secret area. I actually think it's harder, but i got a better wheelie before that thing, so that's why i did it. At 2:06 i drifted longer, than i needed because, then i didn't get airtime before drifting the other way. The way i got down to the road at 2:12 was intended, but that with the lowtrick after could be more optimised. I could have goed into the glitch area at 2:28, but i wanted to show, that when doing the other way, you could also trick down using the banister. I've known the wierd thing at 3:00 for a while and uploaded something with it for some time ago, but i haven't gotten the bounce away from "the invincible wall" before (it isn't an invincible wall, i just don't know what to call it). I'm not good at RFH, but i'm getting better (you can see my improvements throug every laps first staircase (NOT IN THE VERY END). [MKWii - TAF] DK Mountain Freerun Ramoelleus RS 2015-11-29 | It's not perfect, but i think it's upload quality. Also with better video quality ^^. So atleast you can enjoy the video in higher definition. The activity is because i've been sick at home on the latest.I would say i got a cool TAF with new stuff, so i'm happy, even though the lines could be better, like the first time i took the U-turn before the cannon. The turn at 0:51 could be tightened. When i took the same turn at 1:13 it could've been tightened again, but it was ok, because the way i got close to the edge in the end were cool. And what i think the new stuff is is at 0:45 and 1:21. I gave up on the flying high over the fence glitch after around 6 hours of fails, so excuse me please! [MKWii] DK Summit Freerun 3# Ramoelleus RS 2015-04-01 | Well deserved after 12 hours of tries. It took 4 days of tries. A tiny bit credit to Ares for inspiring me with his freerun. And after that, my virus program said that i was in danger of virusses, but it couldn't scan. So i was in a nightmare, afraid of loosing this run. But after 2 restarts, the program would finally work. And in the time my computer were so slow, so it took a half hour, before the program finally worked.
