There is no such thing as the perfect TV and this is important to remember as we continue to assess the best 2022 has to offer us. There are things this Sony A95K does that are sublime as well as ridiculous. The design will split opinions, it cant easily be used with a soundbar and there are only two HDMI 2.1 inputs, which means it struggles with next-generation gaming PCs and console support, and one of those ports also has to be used as the eARC port if you have a device which requires that compatibility, cutting your available HDMI 2.1 ports to one. But, not all of those negatives will be negatives for everyone. We all have our own needs when it comes to a TV. If any of the above negatives are an issue for you, then the Sony A95K QD OLED is probably not for you, and thats before we come on to the high price point.
But, if youre a movie fan and want to see films and TV dramas as they were mastered and intended to be seen, there is currently no finer TV on the market than the Sony A95K QD-OLED. It really is a master class in picture quality with stunning colour reproduction, spotless uniformity, stunning upscaling and picture processing capabilities, with those amazing blacks and sublime dynamic range. Bravo to the BRAVIA! Its a Best in Class award winner for the ultimate in movie watching excellence.

We use Portrait Displays Calman colour calibration software (https://www.portrait.com) a Murideo Seven Generator and a Klein K-10A meter profiled to a JETI Spectraval 1511-HiRes spectroradiometer for measurement and calibration.
