The Stitchess | π€π How to Make a Royalcore Ruff Collar ππ€ @TheStitchess | Uploaded December 2022 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Ask and you shall receive! Today's video is a quick tutorial for creating a theatrical ruff. The theatrical ruff is loosely inspired by Elizabethan ruffs, the immensely popular historical fashion accessory. Since historical ruffs require so much laundering and ironing, the theatrical ruff was created as an alternative that achieved a similar accessory that requires little to no maintenance - perfect for stage productions. Ruffs are great for all sorts of alternative fashions, especially lolita, royalcore, and romantic goth looks.
I hope this tutorial is helpful to those of you looking to add a little bit of *spice* to your outfits!
