happy 7 year anniversary :)
It's still March 10th in some timezone, right?
Still got my wings to spread!
This track is included on Novatone's fifteenth Orbit compilation, Full Flavor Fusion. Check it out and support the other artists: novatone.fanlink.to/orbit-15
This is the first triple collab I've been a part of which has been brought to completion. This is also my first time on Orbit (and hopefully not my last). There's not much else for me to say here--I'm really happy with what we made! I missed releasing long music.

After almost a year of VIPs and remixes, I'm happy to return to original music with Spiral. This was originally intended to be a garage track, but then I got carried away with ideas. Hope you like it!

Happy birthday to me!
Originally I had a giant wall of text explaining my history with this song from BIT.TRIP, why it was so special to me and so on, then I realized that I'm the only person who cares. So uh...I hope you like it!
Fun fact: This is the first and only track of mine so far to use Ableton in any capacity (the ending jingle was made with it then touched up in Mixcraft). No, I'm not switching DAWs yet. It was a one-time thing for a very specific reason.

I was thinking about participating in Novatone's Audioclash, the theme being remixes of classic electronic tracks. Then @Pulvite (who already claimed Scatman) invited me to collaborate with them, so I immediately jumped onto that opportunity. After playing tennis with stems for a month, this is what happened.
The original song is a wonderful classic, so I hope we did it justice. Also, this is my second 90s bootleg!

Yup, it's a Nurture bootleg. This is my favorite album of the year so far, going to wait a few months before deciding if it's in my top ten of all time. In other news, grass is green.
Obviously I liked this song quite a bit, and on my third or fourth listen of the album I realized the potential for a DnB remix. I had a FLAC from buying the vinyl, so I dropped that in my DAW and started playing with it. And uh, this happened.
Out of all the remixes and bootlegs I've made over the years, I think this one is more reliant on the original's sound than any of them. I mean, the drop is 80% the original with post-processing and glitch effects. It's a *really* simple project. But I wouldn't have released it if I didn't like how it turned out, and I do think it's still pretty transformative. Fun fact: The nature sounds in this are from the same recording session I did a year ago for Spread Your Wings!
I screwed up a couple things in the video and sometimes the color doesn't change smoothly. Sorry, but it's way too late at night while I'm writing this and I'm not rendering it again. I promise if you hire me as a video editor I will be more careful on your projects than this.

The actual title of the video should be: "Emerald Hill, Spike Shellcraker & Oscar Oberheim - They Call Me Sonic (Evilgrapez Bootleg)" but the only people who know what a bootleg or an Evilgrapez is are music producers. With this shorter title advertising the genre upfront, I'll get at least two more views than otherwise (however, when you download the track from Bandcamp you'll get the proper metadata attached)!
Almost four years ago, I was asked to make a remix of this by a friend who I'm about 90% confident was joking. I rediscovered their suggestion in late 2020 and decided to actually do it. I'm not particularly attached to the Sonic universe--I loved Sonic X as a kid but I'm not even sure if I've beaten a single game in the franchise. But I still admire some of the characters, and happy hardcore is one of my favorite genres so I actually liked the style of the original track already. My goal was to modernize it while still paying tribute to that 1990s era of happy hardcore it embodies. With the original already being in that genre, calling my bootleg a "happy hardcore remix" is a little redundant, but regardless I haven't made it in a long time, so revisiting it for this project was super fun!
After isolating the vocals from the original I knew I didn't just want to place them in the track plain, so I decided to use a vocoder to give them a weird spin. They're less intelligible, but I liked the sound so I decided to take that sacrifice. Plus, it's not like the lyrics were grammy-worthy writing anyway. I figured it could still be amended with on-screen lyrics in the YouTube video. I also got some help from this brilliantly arranged MIDI, which saved me the time it would have taken to transcribe the original: youtu.be/Dv6A8T-NSJs
Thanks for listening! The original song is admittedly ridiculously silly, and the idea of me remixing it has been a joke for a while, so I thought it would be fitting to upload for April Fool's Day. Because this is a bootleg remix that heavily samples the original track, it's not able to be licensed for store distribution, so no streaming services this time. Please credit me if you use this in anything (though I'd be surprised if Content ID didn't come after it).

As of today, I've been putting music online for six years.
"Rainbow Curse" is one of my oldest tracks (it's nearly five years old), and I've been wanting to remake it for a while. I already made a VIP a long time ago, but there weren't any rules saying I couldn't do that again! It also seemed especially fitting in celebration of my musical anniversary to recreate one of the first songs I wrote that actually had an original melody.
Because of the deadline I kind of speedran this and put it all together more quickly than I usually make a track, meaning a month or so of work.
That doesn't seem very fast, but considering everything else going on in my life at the moment and the technical problems I have to deal with, it's fast for me for a track like this. There were days when I could make more creative music way faster (for instance my VIP of Azure, which was made in a few days), but that's hard for me to do right now for a lot of reasons.
Of course, doing it quickly came with some unfortunate sacrifices. Both drum loops in both drops are full Cymatics drum loops without a lot added to them. I almost always use sample packs for drums anyway but I usually like to put together my own arrangement, combinations of samples, and post-process them a lot. The loop was just supposed to be a placeholder, but as time got tighter they had to serve as the final drums.
I had to rely on a few more presets than I would have liked and the arrangement isn't that creative. It's a lot more similar to the original song than I intended. But I'm happy with it anyway, and I think the quality's still a huge improvement over the original. I don't think it would have won the Art-Inspired Music contest still, but it's not for a contest this time so that doesn't really matter.
Artwork by: twitter.com/diamond_alfax
There's not a lot to say about this one. I made it just in case I didn't finish my VIP in time, but I liked it so much I decided to release it anyway.

This is part of the official remix package for Bonfire. I'm so happy I got to put this together, please click the link and go check out all of the fantastic remixes on it!
I got sick during the last stretch of production on this, so it's less finished and mixed that I want it to be. Nonetheless, here's a VIP of Bonfire! I didn't take the production as seriously as I did on the original (which took almost three years, this was done in a couple months). I was very happy with the original song as it was, and the other remixers were already going to keep the upbeat vibe up, so I thought I'd be weird with mine and instead of trying to write a masterpiece, making something fun instead. Therefore the goal of this track was to answer the questions nobody ever asked or wanted to know the answers to: "What if Bonfire had darker harmonies, was five times as heavy as the original, and also had multiple hard dance sections?"
This is also the first track I've produced in Mixcraft 9, which I finally upgraded to from Mixcraft 8. Automation curves are very nice. Hope you like it--and if you don't there's always the original track and the other remixes.
I'll be uploading the 8-Bit version to my channel tomorrow, I don't want to spam people's notifications.
Behold, the epic story of how I milked a seven second loop dry to make a remix.
95% of this was written in 2019 while I was hard at work on Discovery. I started it because I wanted to take a break from working on the album. To be honest, there's no reason I didn't release it back then. But I'm also kind of glad I didn't, because rediscovering it in my project files was one heck of a surprise. I spent a few days polishing it up, got it licensed, and here we are. Due to this essentially being a remastered 2019 song, it isn't nearly as impressive or complex as my other post-Discovery material, but I'm happy to have it out!
I love the Wii a lot, and I love its music. Everyone knows about the Wii Shop Channel's theme, and it's a popular choice for remixing and mashing up. Hardly anyone brings up the channel's banner music though, and I've never seen it remixed. That was enough motivation for me to get to work. I soon learned why nobody remixed it: Making a full-length piece out of a seven second loop without having it be super repetitive isn't easy.
Regardless of the challenge, I had fun originally making this and remastering it, so I hope you like it!
This is the first video of mine to use a Morphyre visualizer since Dreamscape back in 2015! I now remember why I stopped using it. It's so ugly, and it LAGS. I'm sorry. Also yes, that is Wingdings in the intro.
So...Happy Halloween! Actually, I don't personally celebrate Halloween. We do a weird video on LittleZbot and watch Alf while waiting for trick-or-treaters and that's the extent of my celebration each year. Happy Giving of Candy Day.
I've got no idea what people will think of this one, but releasing new music wouldn't be so exciting if I didn't always reconsider hitting the publish button on the day of release. Oneirodynia started as an experiment with a new VST I had a trial for and a free reverb(?) plugin called Starchild I recently downloaded. That resulted in the intro, which I liked so much I started building a track off of it. Lately I've been wanting to do more songs outside of the traditional 4/4 time signature, so I decided to go for 5/4 here.
I'm really happy with the rhythm and the shift helped inspire me to break out of my creative boundaries more. What's funny is that when I started working on this, my aim was to make something shorter, but now I'm sitting here with a seven minute track.
Does anyone actually like these longer descriptions? They take time to write and I'm not going to keep it up if people don't really read them. I skipped it on Spread Your Wings and nobody cared. Yes, this is a test. You are now morally obligated to give me your opinion or the guilt and shame of not doing so will eat at you forever.
Thanks for listening. This track is included in Dark Arts, a collaborative compilation between Ethereal Network and Left of Us Collective. Make sure to check the full album out!
Things change, and new challenges keep rising. Life's been coming at me more quickly than I prepared for. I know I'm not alone in this because that's the way life is. But we're still standing, and as long as we've got wings to spread, we'll be fine.
Yeah, I don't have a lot to say today!

This is a something I put together for Pulvite's "Hues (The Remixes)" EP that I got to show ahead of time. Shoutouts to Ethereal Network!
Shortly after wrapping the NGGYU remix with Pulvite, they told me they were going to try to host another remix compilation. I said yes immediately without knowing any information, and they said to pick a track from Hues. I told them I'd listen through it and select one, but I already knew the remix I wanted to do.
Purple is one of my favorite things Pulvite's put out, and secretly I've wanted to remix it since they released it over a year and a half ago. My focus was on Discovery, so I thought it wouldn't be a good idea to ask if I could do it, but that's not a factor anymore.
I wanted to put my spin on it and tell a new story while recalling the emotions of the original. Since Purple was such an experimental piece already, I sought to do the same and try lots of strange things in my remix. It feels like every time I release something new, I end up calling it "my weirdest one yet," but I think this will take the cake for a little while. There weren't any limits, and Pulvite expressed multiple times that I was free to do whatever I wanted.
There's a lot of fun sound design I did, and I had a blast doing all the tempo and genre changes. I was worried it wouldn't be that cohesive, but I'm thrilled with how this turned out. I have *no* idea what people will think of it though, so I'm a bit anxious about the response. Pulvite seemed to like it, so maybe you will too.
Thanks for listening and reading. I appreciate it. Check out the EP, there's a really cool remix of Orange on there too.
The only way I could have brought this project to life was with Pulvite's help. Go check them out here: youtube.com/channel/UCBSQ1TeBaAF6AFNVK31_BVg
I hope you enjoy this. EvilDainGaming finally has new material.
(if you don't know about the original Dreamscape, why there's a sequel, or what EvilDainGaming is, it's a very long story. Don't listen to it or the EP, it was made years ago with pre-made melodies and is overall very bad).
Tracklist:
1. Prologue (0:00)
2. Start Up (Remastered) (4:33)
3. 3GB RAM (8:10)
4. Gamma (12:57)
5. Midpoint (Switching Gears) (16:49)
6. Drifting (20:33)
7. Embrace (26:19)
8. Bonfire (30:09)
9. Discovery (34:52)
10. Epilogue (39:09)
It feels strange to type this. For two and a half years, the completion of my album was my driving goal. I stopped releasing songs because it was getting in the way of finishing my album. I put off personal goals in my life because it was getting in the way of finishing my album. I tend to bite off more than I can chew, and I'm usually working on several different kinds of projects at once. I halted nearly all of them in favor of finishing my album. But now I'm done, and Discovery is what I have to show for it. When I began working on it I didn't have a plan or any idea of what I wanted to do or where I wanted to take this. Some people would ask me what the theme of the album was, or what it was called, or when it would be released. Most of the time I told them I didn't know. Sometimes I would tell them some definitive answer, but I would retract it later realizing that wasn't what I wanted to do.
I wrote dozens of ideas, and several completed tracks that I fully intended to make it on the final product, but it all ended up being cut when I realized it didn't fit with my vision of the album. I didn't even know what my vision of it was, I just somehow knew it didn't fit with it. As ideas were culled and new ones were made, I kept writing. I made the music I felt like making, or thought would sound good. Occasionally I would send something off for feedback, sometimes it would be well received or very poorly received. My standards began getting unreasonable. I went through a phase where I didn't accept anything but perfection, which I finally put a stop to when I spent eighty hours on a single project.
One day I finally landed on a tracklist, with the first draft of each song having been written. So, I kept polishing those drafts, intending to commit to it. I told myself over and over: "This is the album. This is what I have and this is what it will be. Nothing more should be added and nothing should be taken away. My job is to get this material to its best possible state however long it takes."
After all of this, I still didn't have an answer to the biggest question: What is the album about?
I told myself not to worry about it. Get it done, and that's what matters. Completing this was my driving purpose now, it needed to reach that state. But I thought about it anyway, and it drove me nuts. One day I was relistening to the title track, and it clicked.
I think this album represents the past two and a half years of my life, from when I started working on it to when I finished it. Every single song I wrote that I didn't immediately throw away was about how I was feeling, what I was going through, and what I was thinking. Two and a half years is a long time, and this album was there for all of it, still being made. It clicked, I figured out what it was called. I already named it a long time ago. The one thing that tied everything together was the sense of Discovery. It makes sense, because during that time..
I discovered new friends.
I discovered new experiences.
I discovered what the album was about.
I discovered more of myself.
The artwork is a rainbow color burst procedurally generated with an algorithm because I don't think there's a better way for me to represent what this album is. What I have to show for all of my work is my most convoluted project ever and the most personal thing I've made. The former means that I can't wait to show you all what I've made, and the latter means that the idea of showing you all freaks me out.
But I'm taking that step forward. Discovery shouldn't wait.
Will be available on other stores shortly.
I'm sorry I went quiet. I hope this makes up for it.
I'll be returning everywhere else soon.
It doesn't feel real to actually be talking about this as if it's finished and coming out soon, but it is. Creating Discovery was a ride. It is the longest and hardest I've worked on a single project, and I have absolutely no clue how any of you will react to it when it's out because it's so different from anything I've done before. That's both exciting and pretty terrifying.
I've chose to release it so quickly because it's been waiting long enough. I want it to be heard.
There's so much I want to say right now that I'm finding it hard to say anything. I'll talk more about it when it's out, including what the album means to me.
Thanks for sticking around.

Hey everyone, it's the four year anniversary since I released my first song and began creating music! It's been a very long time since I released something 100% new, not a remake or remix. I know I sound like a broken record, but again, my efforts on new material have been put towards my album in order to get it finished more quickly. Nonetheless, I present to you one of my most unique projects to date: Discovery.
Well actually, this is technically a remake. "Discovery" has been in the works for two years. A very, very early version was released a long time ago as a Spotify exclusive, under the name "Bitcity." It was more like a filler upload to pass the time before I had something else, and it was eventually taken down. It was released, but only shortly and on a few stores. A year later, I revisited the project and worked it into something new, which resulted in 90% of what you're hearing. Back then I wanted to save it for the album, so I left the project to sit when I had mostly completed it. As time went on, my album and its style changed, and the track (along with a few others that are unreleased) no longer fit, so I abandoned it. Three days ago, I rediscovered the project file, and decided that it was worth reviving. After several hours and long nights, I finally finished what I started two years ago.
There are actually five songs that have fallen to the same predicament, and I have yet to decide what to do with them. Unlike those, this one actually still held up a little.
It's not perfect, and I do wish I had more time to get it to that state, but even if I did I'd probably just tinker with it endlessly like I do everything else I don't have a deadline for. Nonetheless, I'm happy to finally release it for everyone to hear. I don't actually know what genre it is, is has future bass influences but also some dubstep ones. It's probably a song Monstercat would label as "Electronic."
I guess one thing hasn't changed throughout these four years, I still type up an entire essay about each song! I hope you enjoy it, I'm happy with how it turned out.
Fun fact: I painted that artwork three months ago, it's the second painting I've ever painted (aside from my logo, which was edited on there). I still have yet to hang it.

I apologize for not releasing anything for three months. I've been working on a lot of cool stuff, and I can't wait to show you some of the music I've created, but it's not time yet, and real life never rests. My album will not be coming out this year. If I can get a teaser for it out this year I'll be very grateful but that likely will not happen either.
Special thanks to SirBen64, for being a second pair of ears (and very patient) during the day. This remix would have had a weird very thin bitcrushed lead if it hadn't been for his input: youtube.com/channel/UCI_j_BPCu8qs0c-RKp2UrWA

This remix wouldn't have been possible without Yoshimaster's scarily accurate MIDI cover for me to start from. Check it out here (and thanks for letting me use it!): youtu.be/8p85hRrr44A
The footage, unfortunately, is at 720p 30fps, despite the fact that this was rendered in 1080p 60fps. I don't have time to fix it, and it wouldn't matter much anyway since the footage isn't the focus.
Super Mario Odyssey would probably the best Mario game ever if the Galaxy games didn't exist. But instead of obsessing over how good it is, I'll talk about the remix instead. I've wanted to do something from the game for a while. I had three ideas: Jump Up Super Star, Fossil Falls, and New Donk City. I decided Jump Up Super Star was overdone and Fossil Falls was already so good that I'd never do it justice. So I went with New Donk City, because it was still really good and not done as much.
The gameplay you're seeing here is my own this time! It was recorded with an Elgato Game Capture HD, and this is the first capture made with it that's more than a one minute test. You can see the raw footage here: youtu.be/j-24jscD1Ww (basically all the parts where NDC plays are muted due to copyright reasons, sorry)
I had a lot of fun with this song and it may not be the only SMO song I do. Hope you likey.
Oh also, it's my birthday I guess.
I've been looking forward to releasing this one for a while (this was originally the "early June release" I talked about, but it got pushed back). I played with several different sounds and ideas here, and did a lot of different things that was my first time doing in a project (for instance, playing my bass).
Anyway, hope you enjoy it. I'm probably going to be releasing more remakes and remixes, as my originals are focused on my album (which has been changed from a summer release to a "when it's done" release).

Okay, yeah, it's been almost three months since my last song, and this one's only a remake of an older song, but TO BE FAIR, there's probably a really good excuse for that. I just haven't thought of it yet. This isn't the only Pulvite related song I have coming this month, by the way. Kind of sucks my Twitter got locked literally the day before this released, though.

Made in about half a day.
It's been a really crazy couple of weeks. I left Discord for a while (soon to be Twitter as well), one of my songs got stolen, as a result of the song being stolen Start Up blew up a little on Spotify, and the Nintendo Direct happened and freaking Smash Bros. was revealed. But, I managed to squeeze out a track for today anyway, somehow. I have no idea how, especially considering a lot of the time that should've been spent on this was spent researching and emailing stores about the stolen track. Superpowers?
My third anniversary was coming up, so I brainstormed with myself about what WIPs I could finish. Eventually I realized that I'd wanted to do something new with Azure for a while, so this happened! Azure had a lot of it cut out from the final mix so I used the unused stuff for the base here. It was a lot of fun to make (if not a little stressful, I only remembered about today four days ago) and I experimented a lot with it. I'm pretty happy with what I made here.
It's really crazy that it's been three years already since I first started. A lot's changed. I'm really thankful that you've all stuck with me (it hasn't been a smooth ride for all of it).
With that, I'm focusing on my album and other projects now. No more singles for a while, probably. If I haven't made it clear in the past, I'm very excited for you all to hear the album.
So, with all that being said, I present to you a very experimental and different version of Azure. Here's to the next chapter! Let's make my third year a good one!

All the way back in August I was approached by Drewpy about remixing his track here! I'm super excited to release it now and I'm very thankful for the opportunity.
The idea for a DnB remix started when I was playing around with the track stems and realized the BPM was perfect for it. So, I experimented with a lot of different ideas, and eventually, this was the result!
Anyway, although it's slightly old I'm very happy to be on this compilation and I hope you enjoy it!

But hey, happy Pixel Day! I've been looking forward to this day all year (quite literally) and as per usual, I've kept my ongoing tradition of releasing a chiptune/EDM hybrid track today!
This is also a very special song, as it finally marks the start of my "new sound." I've been working for several months on just improving at everything and I'm (hopefully) more tolerable now. I mean, it's still no Porter Robinson, but it's something, right?
Although this is a bit rushed I'm still pretty proud of it and I really hope you like it! I've actually had the melody and chords lying around for a while, unused, but I'm glad I got to use them here.
Anyway, I gotta run and there's not much to say, so enjoy, and Happy Pixel Day!

Why the heck did I make this?
Hey guys! We actually finished this a while ago, but we had a lot of issues with release. However, it's out now! This may be my last release for the year (unless a remix EP I remixed on comes out before then), but I'm really excited to show you my stuff in 2018, including my album.
This started a few months ago during a voice call in my Discord server. Basically we were all fooling around and I asked Pulvite if they wanted to collab. They sent me the melody, and we both went to work.
It went pretty smoothly. They worked in FL Studio and I worked in Mixcraft so there was a lot of passing stems back and forth, but aside from that everything flowed nicely.
The video was a combination of a lot of weird effects and a lot of inside jokes.
Also, in case you're wondering about the ending, we were joking while making this about making it hardstyle, just to make Ben angry. Also, don't ask about the closed bracket.
Overall I'm very happy with how this one turned out and I'm very happy I got the chance to collab with Pulvite. Hope you like it!

A little while ago me and Liminal started talking and we exchanged WIPs! I liked one of the WIPs she sent me and asked for stems, and then this happened over time! I'm very happy with how this one turned out. Hope you like it!

Miiverse is officially ending today, so I decided that instead of ending things off with just an EDM cover I'd do a classic piano cover instead. So, uh, here you go. The reverse piano fills were especially fun to do.

I used a video from JMeister18 for the visuals. Miiverse: Still Loading... - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyeOz... (and yes, I cut out the clip of him going to the home menu and restarting Miiverse this time)
I'm amazed at the feedback this has gotten. This video has the most views I've ever gotten on this channel, and I consider this one of my most average songs! If you like this, then I'd appreciate it if you checked out some of my other material as well. Oh, and I'm very, *very* sorry for the forced "what's an rp" reference.

Since I don't have a Wii U, I used a video from JMeister18 for the visuals. Miiverse: Still Loading... - youtube.com/watch?v=PyeOzwzrWIg (and yes, I'm aware that I left a clip of him going to the home menu and restarting Miiverse in there, shut up)
Working Title: Bigley's Symphony
Miiverse, a big part of my life for a couple years, is officially closing its doors in a couple days. Looking back, it was a pretty dumb site, but I'm gonna miss it anyway. So, to celebrate its end, I made a medley. Transposing the music took longer than expected, but after that was done the rest came naturally. I used the loading theme, the profile settings theme, and the startup theme for this. I'm not sure if there are any others.
Whatever the case, I hope this brought back some memories for you (that is, if you were even a Miiverse user). Farewell, you horrible social media that I'm going to miss for some reason.

Hey guys, this came out a long time ago but I never promo’d it or uploaded it to YouTube. Well, here it is! Compared to Dreamscape and my more recent releases it just feels a lot less professional and overall shallow. It’s miles better than the original Carbondyoxide, though.
Anyway, here are my thoughts on the tracks now.
0:00 - Seven Shards
Overall I still think it’s really solid. It uses too many Wonderland samples but that was because Joseph asked me to put them in (freakin’ Joseph ruins everything). Aside from that, I’m happy with the melody, the composition, and just it overall. This is definitely one I want to remake in the future. Probably the best on the album.
4:13 - Rainbow Spirit
I don’t think it’s really that bad. It’s aged pretty well in my opinion. Too much reverb, though, but I do like the atmosphere.
8:41 - Megadrive
Aaaaand this is where everything starts going downhill. A stupid, short track, with the BPM way too fast, and an annoying repetitive melody. Enough said.
11:08 - Second Chance
Probably the second-best, maybe the best. I don’t know. I still really enjoy this. I’m really happy with how I used the Cymatics sample. At least it was more creative than sticking a melody in and putting a drum loop over it.
16:11 - Kicking Koopas
Old WIP I finished for the album. Am I still a fan of it? Not as much as before. It’s a decent track but it never really does anything special. That’s that.
19:05 - Distortion
Worst. Evilgrapez song. Ever. Let’s skip this one.
21:18 - Sundrop
This one is interesting. I said before it took a lot of inspiration from Shimmer by Notaker, and looking back, I think it takes a little too much inspiration. Not counting the different synths and the key change it’s pretty much an exact copy, with poorer production. I like the track and the atmosphere it has, but it’s very much a ripoff. I may revisit it, though.
24:48 - Falling Above
My attempt at a dubstep track was a very poor one. Bad mixing, annoying vocals, terrible structure and sound design, I could go on forever. It had the potential to be okay, but it failed. Badly.
29:18 - Grand Finale
A poor excuse for a multi-genre track. I hate this one. It can’t decide what it wants to be at all, to the point where it switches what song it’s a remake of halfway through. Don’t even get me started on the dubstep drop. This one wasn’t good.
38:29 - Press B To Start Game
Finally, one I really like! This was a remake of my old, very sample filled song, “Press A To Start Game,” and I’m very happy with it still. I think it does a pretty decent job at taking the original and doing something new with it. Very cool track in my opinion.
Overall the album was okay. It couldn’t decide what it wanted to be, and was pretty messy in some parts. The transitions, while a cool idea, were poorly done. The only transitions I really enjoyed were Falling Above to Grand Finale’s, and Grand Finale’s to Press B To Start Game’s. One thing I think I did alright on in this album though, was definitely atmosphere. I do like how I managed to set the atmosphere pretty well for each track, and it gives it a lot more personality in my opinion.
I'm not kidding, that's literally all I have to say about this. Oh yeah, it's my first time doing a thing that isn't in 4/4.
Okay, enjoy!
Working title: Cashing Sunsets (don't ask)
I got the privilege to collaborate with duo Cocoa Before Commitment, and it was fun! This originally started as a megacollab, but after a couple weeks me and Cocoa decided to just take up this project ourselves.
It was mostly us passing stems back and forth for about a month, adding onto the same little thing until we got something. I'm really happy I got to collab with these guys, and I hope that you guys like it, too. It's more like their style than mine, really, but I'm still pretty happy with it.
It's named Chasing Sunsets, because it was the last sentence my sister said and it sounded cool.

So, in case you didn't know, this year's the 25th anniversary of my favorite video game series, video game character, one on my biggest inspirations, and my favorite puffball. Kirby!
I really wanted to do something special on the day of his anniversary, but it didn't work out. However, I did make this! Yogurt Yard's theme was always one of my favorites when I played Kirby's Adventure. It's just so darn catchy and happy. When I rediscovered it thanks to a certain channel with extremely high-quality rips, I knew I had to remix it. So I started working on it, and I spent about 24 hours on it (plus a few extra, more worrying hours because I thought the project file was corrupted) before finishing it and calling it a day (literally).
I personally really enjoy it, and I'm glad I got to release something summer-y this summer.
Also, in other, non-relevant news, I picked up my first bass guitar yesterday. Hooray for me!
I'll see you guys around!

Carbondyoxide Vol. 2 is something I've wanted to do since I made the original two years ago. It was only during the long hiatus that Dreamscape was on (from July to December) that I started working on it. After 7 months of hard work, it was finally finished (aside from the masters). Dreamscape took me almost a full year (11 months), but this one still took me a while (and ended up being a lot longer).
This song in particular was originally made when I heard the melody in a sample pack and tried to make something with it. The result is this and I kinda like it.
Each song was made to interconnect with each other, so it's a gapless album, I guess. It's more like something you listen to from start to finish, without pausing (but I don't blame you if you don't - it's quite long).
The original Carbondyoxide was an interesting project, to say the least. It was a bunch of songs I made before I knew how to actually make songs good. You can go listen to it if you want, but it's bad. Really bad.
Originally this was supposed to be released on Ocular Sounds. I actually sent it in and everything, but because Alex apparently has amnesia he forgot about it. So I'm self-releasing it!
Though I made more memories with working on Dreamscape, this one has its fair share, too. It may not be as memorable or mean as much as Dreamscape does, but I think I did pretty okay with this one.
I am very happy with how it turned out, and hope you enjoy it, too. Thanks for listening. Hope I can do even better next time!
Also, this is my first video in a while that's in 60FPS. That's cool.

Releases June 24th (and the album's totally done, so no delays this time!).
A lot of people complained about how the beginning of Starflight was really good compared to the rest of the song, so I decided to fulfill their wishes and make a chill version of the song based on the beginning! It only took me a year to actually get around to doing it!
See you all later.
Also, this video took six hours to render on my slow computer because of all the unnecessary effects so you better enjoy them.
And no, I haven't read the book.

Rainbow Curse was a fun project, but wasn't exactly a great entry to the AIM contest. Even though 2016 was last year and that contest is over, I still decided to remake this, just for kicks. I hope you like it! It's a lot more chilled out than the original, but I kind of like that.
Released on Ocular Sounds: http://ocularsounds.weebly.com
My first remix in almost a year! After I found out there was a remix contest going on for this one, I decided to listen to it. I looked it up on Spotify, and it was actually really cool. For a modern-day future bass track, it was creative, and nice. So I decided to download the stems and start remixing. The end result was this mess of a song. It's far from my best work (I think I like my Way To You remix more than this), and it's, as I said, a mess, but I think it's okay. The master was only finished today, A.K.A. one day before the contest ends. There's always something about me and entering contests at the very end. I guess I wanted to maximize my time spent on this.
I did do some improv on my keyboard with the main melody, especially during the second drop. Not too sure if it was a good idea or not, but I didn't want it to sound the exact same as the original.
The chiptune part in the middle was my personal favorite part to work on. Chiptune was always one of my favorite genres, and it's not an Evilgrapez song without some of it.
I guess overall it's a decent remix. Not too good, not too bad. I hope you enjoy it. I have more tracks coming soon, too. Maybe more remixes.

Second, I'd also like to apologise about the bad frame rate. I actually recorded this with Hypercam, because it was the only software that recorded the audio good enough. I'd also like to apologise for the clipping, because to be completely honest, I had no idea it was clipping. That was entirely my fault.
So, if you watched LittleZbot, you know he did a few Music Ace covers back in the day. One day, he opened it again to check out his unfinished projects.
Then he realized they sucked and closed it again.
He left the disc in, though.
So I opened Music Ace to check out my unfinished projects. I mean, the whole music thing happened, right? I had to have shown some potential back in 2011!
Nope, I didn't. Now that I think about it, I don't remember anything I learned from Music Ace. I think I just skipped the lessons and went to the doodle pad. Oops. Sorry, Mom! But I took it as a personal challenge to do something worthwhile in Music Ace anyway. So, with my newfound experience in music, I started on this cover.
I picked Shelter, because it seemed fairly simple. It had a basic melody, was fairly straightforward, and was in C Major, so I didn't have to worry about any sharp notes (Music Ace makes writing sharp notes a huge pain). Not to mention it's a very memorable song, and one I personally really enjoy. So, I decided to start on it.
The beginning took an hour or two. It was clear it was going to take a long time to make, but I was already determined to finish.
Music Ace has no drums, so I had to improvise with lots of bass notes. I found out you could have two of the same note play at once as long as they were different note sizes, (which, fun fact, can actually let you get slightly higher notes than normal if you use it around the high notes) which was a huge help.
This song was so huge, that it spanned across three different project files, because apparently, Music Ace has a note cap! Hooray! It was probably those little details and all those note slides, but they were so worth it. In the final video, I just cut between these, to make a gapless mix. You can clearly tell where these cuts are.
You might notice that the second project file is pretty short. It was so short, because I had to use a copied version of the first file as a base for the second breakdown, in order to speed up the process by just a little bit (mostly so that I didn't have to place those annoying bass notes again. *shudder*).
Overall, recreating Shelter was a fun, but painful experience. It was a fun one-off, and I hope you like it. Due to how hard it was to make this with the software constantly working against me, I don't think I'll be doing more.
For those who actually own Music Ace and want to check it out or fix my mistakes, here are the project files and the MIDIs: dropbox.com/sh/8zy29bq5l9pkhvw/AABnIY73GMXmFWPY_PugILF5a?dl=0
