Tepec: "So this is our first tricking video on Halo Infinite Campaign, and like quite many tricks, this one was found almost accidentally: I have been playing through the campaign at a very slow pace because Nexos, Shadows and I are doing what we call a "virtual coop" (playing at the same time and keeping an eye on what the others do), but as I was trying to complete secondary quests while waiting for them and before the mission "Excavation Site", I stumbled upon this Cathedral building and tried to get inside normally. I noticed I couldn't, but figured this kind of things never stopped us, so I tried to get inside anyway... And so I did 😆
Be careful though, because if you do it like me, i.e. pretty early relatively to your progress, you may trigger the cutscene inside the building, and that will mess your progression up (you won't be able to continue on this save).
Shoutout to Timbouton, who showed me the method to clip into the ground with the help of a Warthog, because it makes this whole trick about a million times easier compared to the other way to clip at that spot under the ramp. If you don't know him, check out his channel here: youtube.com/user/timbouton !"
So this is it: our "Frigate Challenge Trilogy" is now complete! This final episode is quite special though, because much of its difficulty lies in the fact that, this time, we need to land on a moving target!
Moreover, there are a few specificities that make this one probably way harder than the previous challenges: the low gravity, the "hang time" of the launch (meaning you must anticipate the movement of the frigate way more), and the fact that this can only be performed online: the principle of the "sabre launch" itself relies on the latency between a guest player when they enter the sabre and the host (who is then launched).
Here are a few keys points if you try to attempt this by yourself: • Once again, it must be performed playing online (it doesn't work with local splitscreen). • I tried to perform it with two consoles at home, but I had to set one of my consoles on my phone's 4G network and the other to my regular home network to get powerful launches, so I suspect there is an inherent rule about "the bigger the ping, the stronger the launch". • You can create your "stack of sabres" after killing all the enemies, right before triggering the cutscene, the goal is to get them to stay in a "volume" of the BSP where they won't get despawned, and depending on whether I was attempting this by myself or with others I had different results. • When the corvette has arrived, you can check if you have many sabres in space, and you can also try to gently push them towards the "bottom of space". • We had the best results when we were setting up the sabre towards the rear-right end of the corvette on the 'ground'. • You *must* launch in the timespan of the checkpoint: if you wait too long, chances are your launch is going to lose much of its strength, and if not chances are you're going to die. That's due to the fact that, right at a checkpoint, you enjoy a few seconds of invincibility. • The checkpoint occurs fairly consistently in time, but for it to be triggered, the friendly AIs must kill all the enemies on top of the Corvette, so if you have a third player, you can keep them on top of the Corvette to kill the friendly AIs and wait for your signal to kill all the enemies and trigger that checkpoint "on-demand". • Once you land on the frigate, don't be like Dashie, SPRINT as soon as you can, as long as you can! 😆
I hope you will enjoy this video, which may very well be one of the last videos on the MCC before quite some times given we're heading towards Halo Infinite!
Oh! We also put together a quick "bonus" video on our secondary channel with a few attempts and fails of this launch we did live on our Twitch channel: youtu.be/IDIS5QhsNWI
[00:00] Intro [00:25] Setup [01:00] Launch [02:01] Epilogue [02:38] Out with a Bang!
Well you know us, as soon as we got our hands on this tech preview and spawned on this beautiful multiplayer map set on Zeta Halo, we turned around, looked at the scenery and were like "we need to get out there and explore!" 😅
And so we did!
We also felt compelled to share this way out as it only works with specific settings in custom game, NOT in matchmaking (no baddie exploiting this to piss you off, I promise!).
I hope you'll have fun watching this as much as we had trying to figure this out; finding new tricks on a brand new game is always super exciting!
***DISCLAIMER*** These tests are purely informative and are most likely not 100% accurate. Also, please bear in mind that "Shorter Time To Kill (TTK)" ≠ "Better Weapon" as this TTK varies depending on many factors that are not taken into account in those tests, such as "distance to target", "headshots vs bodyshots", bloom strength, ease to hit and so on.
This was recorded during the second tech preview on September 27th 2021 on an Xbox Series X, with a display resolution of 1080p and at 60FPS. Shooting range should be considered "close" (~2.5 in-game units).
(Tepec) So this is no secret at HaloCrea that I have a deep love for mongooses. I also enjoy stacking vehicles until the game can't take it anymore; it is one of these "oddly satisfying" thing that is quite known in Halo 2 or Halo 3, but a bit lesser known for some reason in Reach. So I decided to go full stupid on this, and see how many mongooses we could get using a trick. Spoiler alert: it's 134.
Also be careful if you want to do it yourself (because you can, there's no mod or anything special involved): this trick will likely get your game to crash, and you may lose the movie file and progression on this level in the process, which can be quite frustrating when you just spent hours doing it.
Dear Halo, I would like to show my support to that poor pink/purple ODST player who was hammered, hijacked, assassinated & killed so many times in Halo Infinite's multiplayer trailer, and who's not even shown in the "family pictures".
To you, purple ODST: I love you, & ODSTs are the best!
Two years ago, we decided to revisit that old trick that lets you get as many Warthogs as the game can handle (about 70 on the MCC). But what to do with them? Well, We wrote with them a message the Covenants would be able to read from space!
Tepec: Since Rocket Elijah talked about this idea of his, I have been working so much on it and I think it's time for us to share where we're at. This challenge has been extremely hard to overcome, and to some extent it is to this day not 100% complete, but with this video we intend to show, in theory, you can finish Halo 4's "Ghost Run" without ever entering a Ghost!
It is still very much of a Work in Progress, because on several occasions, we used a second player in a Ghost to "carry" the player on foot. So yeah, there's room for improvement. So why sharing it now? I think this has given me the most fun on Halo 4, ever. So I thought "we should give the opportunity to more players to know about it, and maybe they'll try and do even better than us!".
If you have suggestions, ideas, and if you're trying things to complete this challenge, feel free to let us know in the comments or on our Discord server!
First off, if you're not familiar with "the mystery of the glyphs in Halo 3: ODST", you should definitely take a look at the video we did with Rocket Sloth "Hunting the last UNSOLVED Halo 3 ODST Easter Egg (Secret Glyph Project)": youtu.be/bBuP039tzjQ
(Tepec) For the past decade -and especially during the last months-, people suggested that the glyphs may be some form of code, and that they may be translatable to something we understand. I've always been skeptical about this for quite a few reasons (the main one being the lack of "Rosetta stone" to help us decipher them) BUT I thought it would still be fun to wrap my brain around the problem and try to solve it. And for that, I decided to use the most overkill method I know of: the bruteforce. If you don't know what that mean, it is a type of "attack" on a sequence of characters that computes every single possibility until it finds the right combination. But bruteforcing has its own major limitations: the complexity is factorial, and so you may end up having to compute all the possibilities for a few hundred years. And I am patient, but not to that extent.
So this video shows off in a silly way the full process to finally bruteforce the glyphs. Hope you'll enjoy!

That is not something we usually do much, but we do believe those documentaries are of great interest for people interested in discovering the mood and spirit behind the making of Halo 3, as well as understanding the huge amount of work making such a game represents.

(Tepec) About 1 year ago, shortly after the AUP (Arbitrary Unit Possession) Glitch was discovered, Harc the Shark sent me this rather odd screenshot of a Banshee mixed with a Wraith cannon, which was both hilariously ridiculous and absolutely awesome. So I promised myself that one day, I'll reproduce that rather peculiar "super heavy Banshee", and after a few months and great advices from Harc, Grenadator and I finally made it!
This trick does not require any mod; you can do it on console and PC, and in theory if you can connect two OG Xbox or 360 in LAN, you can make it on OG Halo 2.
But yeah, this trick is absolutely pointless, it doesn't give you anything special other than this absurd-looking monster of a Banshee. And I have no regrets, this is probably the funniest AUP I ever did.
We all hope you'll enjoy this video, it was a lot of fun to edit despite a fastidious setup, so with a bit of luck you'll have some laugh watching it!

When I first saw that launch and the fact that yes, you could technically land a mongoose on top of one of the tallest skyscrapper of New Mombasa back in 2010 in Terminal Velocity's montage, my first thought was 'Oh man those guys are absolutely insane, never will I land such a cool launch!'. But here we are, about 10 years later, so I thought I had to do a little something to celebrate, and maybe inspire other people to try it!"
Setup: 🏁 New Mombasa Streets - OG: "Open City" | MCC: Rally point 8 💀 Tilt & Cowbell 🗺️ District 9 (Southern most district), south east energy barrier.
This launch was first shown by EnsnaredCadaver in Terminal Velocity's "Gravity = Drag" video, you should check it out! youtu.be/K0H0r-NMbdg
So while we were planning for bigger tricks, TekTek and I (Tepec) found a "new" way to get out of bounds on the Ark after rally point bravo (MCC) during a live stream session; it's probably not really a new out of map, but it's pretty fun to do and I didn't know about it, so it lead me to plan to get on top of the Forward unto Dawn there, something I find always rad to try and that's what we're showing in this video! Also, there's the way to get on top of the Forward Unto Dawn on "Halo", a trick that has been known for a bit now but which is always fun, so we included it as well because why not!
If you want to try those, remember: *always* turn on Tilt & Cowbell skulls, it makes vehicles more resistant and makes crazy vehicle launches possible.
Hope you'll enjoy this video!

By tricking, you can explore areas you should not be able to reach, observe things usually hidden from sight, master the game physics in unexpected ways to accomplish spectacular things. It's all about understanding the incredible work of the people behind the video games that let you dream and have great fun, then exploit it to get even more fun!
I decided to build this challenge because it allows you to experience all of this through several amazing steps: You must break the barriers and go out of bounds of the level "Tip of the Spear". This level is one of my favorites to explore because you can reach a battlefield with Scarabs, Ghosts, Falcons, and Warthogs, whereas all of these are usually things you observe in awe from afar, wondering how you would feel about going through an actual battlefield of epic proportions in Halo. Then, you have to launch your Warthog to the top of one of the frigates up in the sky, using the Scarabs' weird physics. Scarabs have always had unique physics properties in all Halo games you encounter them. This launch is amazing to experience, because it's spectacular in itself, and even if you fail, you can reach absurd heights and see the whole area in a way you never did before. Finally, using your Warthog and a concussion rifle, you will have to throw yourself from the Frigate you're on top of to the other, being more than 600 meters away, and survive to the landing, of course!
Disclaimer: Although it is possible to do this in Reach MCC, the final launch is significantly weaker compared to what it is in OG Reach, which makes it way harder.
Anyway, I tremendously enjoyed spending so much time on planning, trying (failing), and finally succeeding this challenge; I hope you will enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed all this!
If you try this challenge, please feel free to share it with us on our Discord server, our website, on Twitter or Instagram! And if you have other ideas for new challenges, feel free to share them with us!
Many thanks to Termacious Trickocity for their incredible findings and help on tricking in all the Halo games; without them, we probably wouldn't know half of what's possible to do in these games, so if you don't know their YouTube Channel, go check it out!

Finally, our "A.U.P Run" tutorial is here! After countless days of experimentation, successes and failures, we completed Halo 2's campaign playing only as enemies without mods (so anyone with MCC Xbox and soon PC can do it themselves), and this video explains and shows how we did so for each mission!
We wanted to give a huge thank you to Harc the Shark and Nick from Termacious Trickocity, for making this video possible!
Also, hugs and kisses to Imlevelzer0 and TekTek for working on this, being patient lab rats all the way through it!
