There were a lot of comments to yesterday's video with concerns about the precision of the height modules. The long marble row with its many different parts and joints could be prone to errors, for example slight alignment changes during transport.I've build a simple prototype. You can see the trapdoor allows a fixed position of the top marble so everything can stay flush at the top of the marble divider.The bottom marble can be in quite a range of positions. The current height modules are well capable of this. There is only minimal movement of the top marble, even with this sloppy prototype.The throughput also looks quite good. I think this shouldn't be a bottleneck.Maybe this idea could be helpful.
