Sorry for the long wait for content. I've been very burned out creatively as of late, so getting anything going was proving very difficult. But I managed another one of these things, so hey, content!

I'm actually not a huge fan of BW1; the story never really caught my interest until the end, when Ghetsis did his big evil reveal and the castle sequence showed how N was manipulated throughout his life. That part did hit hard. As for the soundtrack, normally, I just kind of don't pay attention to early-game music, but I actively dislike most of the early-game music in BW1. It picks up in the mid- to late-game in a big way, however. My favorites being Driftveil City, Mistralton City, Opelucid City White, Route 10, and the Ghetsis battle theme. In fact, Route 10 is probably top 3 endgame route themes, imo; up there with GSC/HGSS Route 26/27 and RSE/ORAS Ever Grande City. I think BW2 are the better games between the two parts of Gen 5, both in a gameplay sense and a soundtrack sense; that game added stuff like Colress Battle, Reversal Mountain, the rival encounter theme, and the Champion battle theme.
Well, enjoy!
This song was also featured in my Guess the Song Round 4 video, so I already had a few files done to build off of. You can find that Guess the Song video here: youtube.com/watch?v=ympk3raW2DM
So, Persona 4. I've been aware of this game and the franchise in general for a few years now, and somewhat recently, a friend of mine gifted me Persona 4 Golden on Steam. I still need to play the game more lmao. But I've been made very aware of the soundtracks to the Persona games, and all I can really say is, Shoji Meguro knows how to make a killer soundtrack.
The trickiest parts of this song, imo, were the rap lyrics, and making sure I got every little inflection of the sung lyrics correct. Other than that, this was a pretty easy, straightforward song to do.
Well, enjoy!
This is my part for the Kirby Paint Squad Mario Paint Hangout collab. You can find the collab here: youtube.com/watch?v=NWvn9OeDaqE
It's about time I did another Kirby tune. Oh sure, all the recent Kirby tunes I've done are from Super Star (and Ultra), but can ya blame me? Super Star's soundtrack is *legendary*. This one's in my top 5 from this game alone, along with Gourmet Race 2, Vs. Marx, Vs. Meta Knight, and Trees In The Depths Of The Earth.
This took quite a while to complete; I ended up getting stuck midway through the song for a few weeks with massive creative burnout. Managed to get one final push in right before the submission deadline, and took a day to refine it before submitting, and honestly, I quite like the end result.
Well, enjoy!
This was one of my two contributions to the annual Mario Paint Secret Santa event. This year my gift recipient was El Regulus, whose channel you can find here: youtube.com/user/ElRegrs
I decided to do two songs in one gift this year, and this was the second of the two I did. I ended up getting this one done relatively quickly in the space of about four days or so.
What is there to say about this tune that hasn't already been said? It's the most well-known tune from this game, and many tout it as one of their favorite works Yoko Shimomura has ever done. And it really isn't hard to see why. On a console absolutely chock full of great tunes, this one stands head and shoulders above a great deal of them.
Well, enjoy!

I chose to do two songs in one gift this year, the first of which was this one. El Regulus indicated that they really like Super Mario RPG music, so I delved right in to the soundtrack, and picked out this one as a tune that suited my Mario Paint style. It's a very active sort of song, with constant percussion effects and a very driving bassline. A fitting theme for a Mario volcano level, imo.
Well, enjoy!
I quite like this rendition of the Neo Arcadia theme. It doesn't quite carry the same tone as the original Z1 rendition, which really sold the sinister tone o the final stage, but this version still carries some of the sinister vibes as a more understated part of the tune. Now, it underscores the devastation of the surroundings during the mid-stage, in which the Resistance's frontal assault of Neo Arcadia has failed horribly, and a grisly sight awaits Zero as he goes to retrieve Elpizo.
This didn't take too long to do, since there are a lot of repeating parts, from the bassline to the percussion to the choir part.
Well, enjoy!
I've always liked Splash Woman's theme, but actually covering it on Mario Paint gave me a new appreciation for it. I really like how ethereal and calming the main melody is, and the bassline is very complementary to it. This has become one of my top 5 themes in the game, imo. Up there with Tornado Man, Wily Stage 1, Final Battle, and Galaxy Man. Splash Woman herself is also a fun boss, if a bit easy. She's one of the ideal choices to start the game with as she's a simple fight with the default buster. Her weakness, Hornet Chaser, completely snaps the fight in two, however. Still, a decent choice for a first boss.
Well, enjoy!
When it comes to boss themes in classic Mega Man games, I find it's kind of a mixed bag. I like a select few of them: 3, 6, 8, and 9 are the cream of the crop, if you ask me. I really like how this one plays out; the intro is short and sweet, not wasting any time getting into the meat of the theme, and then picking up the pace to something rather frantic. Honestly, my favorite regular boss theme of the bunch.
Well, enjoy!
I really dig this stage select theme. I think it's the bassline that does it for me; never fails to get me jivin' while I go to pick the next robot master. Plus, you can't go wrong with the classic Stage Start jingle from MM2. Just another part of what makes MM9's OST so damn strong.
Well, enjoy!
There was no way I wasn't going to remix this a bit, since the original is just a five-second loop. Had to spice it up a bit. Hopefully this turned out well; I like what I did, but I do hope it goes over well.
Well, enjoy!
This can be considered filler, if you like. Pretty hype title theme, though; gets me pumped up for playing a great Mega Man game.
Well, enjoy!
For the record, I don't like Undertale, but the soundtrack does have a few bangers on it. Like this one. Story behind this one is that there were about four days left before the deadline when I started work on this, and I successfully hid my participation in the collab until I finished this piece. I was initially skeptical on whether I should upload this to my channel standalone or leave it as something only in the collab, but I was convinced by the simple posting of a SourPls in the premiere live chat lmao during this piece. So, there you have it.
Well, enjoy
This piece took me way too bloody long to settle on doing. Progress on it was fairly rapid, though I ran into some issues with the rhythm that I initially couldn't get around. Some assistance from DatKooby managed to do the trick, though. You can find her channel here: youtube.com/user/PurpleKirby54
The Wario takeover collab was an opportunity to do some music from a series I haven't paid much attention to over the years. In the process of trying to do something for the collab, I discovered some downright amazing soundtracks, especially from the Wario Land games + Wario World. This is one of the tunes that really stood out to me. Nintendo must've thought this tune was a banger too; it was remixed for Wario Land: Shake It! as Glittertown's theme.
Well, enjoy., and HAVE A ROTTEN DAY
Mega Man X2 is a solid overall game that plays well and has a pretty kickass soundtrack. It might not be the original Mega Man X in terms of quality and legendary status, but it's a fine follow-up game that is absolutely worth the time playing. And the soundtrack, while not as instantly recognizable as X1's, has some real bangers on it. Intro Stage, Bubble Crab, Flame Stag, Magna Centipede, Overdrive Ostrich, Crystal Snail, X-Hunter Stage 1, the Zero theme, and the Sigma fight themes are my picks from this soundtrack.
This song wasn't too tricky to do overall, aside from getting the intro section's echoes to sound the way I wanted them to. I made sure to get a really good echo effect going on that part, otherwise it just wouldn't have sounded right. The rest of the song was pretty simple; just adding in an echo for the main melody and figuring out percussion timing.
Well, enjoy!
Edit 5/25/2021: 1K view milestone reached. It's been a long time since I've had a video reach 1K this quickly.

Thanks for covering for me while my computer's on the fritz :P
Well, long time no upload. It's been a couple months since my last upload. I've been going between having no motivation and working on another project lately, but recently, I've been getting into the soundtrack to Friday Night Funkin', because *hot damn*, the soundtrack slaps. What a fantastic soundtrack. This one here, Thorns, ranks among my top tracks in the game, along with Roses, South, and MILF. Also, in a first for me, I'm making an MP3 of this cover available for download :P Check the pinned comment below for the download link.
Work is continuing on a big project that I will reveal later, so stay tuned for that :P
Friday Night Funkin' is owned by Ninjamuffin99

Well, enjoy!
So, here's the final Wily stage theme from Mega Man 7. The stage is your usual final Wily stage fare, complete with the boss rush teleporter room and the final confrontation with Dr. Wily. And I don't think I need to mention how much of a nightmare the Wily Capsule in this game is. Being limited to four E-Tanks and the S-Tank makes brute-forcing the Wily Capsule less viable, so you better learn how to dodge those elemental orbs.
This didn't take too long to do, but the song is a thirty-second loop, so no real surprises there. Just thought I'd do a shorter song to shake off the rust and get the creative flow going again :P
Well, enjoy!
First things first, this was the song I did for the 2020 Mario Paint Secret Santa event, in which I drew my good friend VolcanBrimstone. Now, there's a story behind this one: this came about as a result of a long-running inside joke. The first two times I participated in Mario Paint Secret Santa events, I drew Volcan both times and did Sonic songs both times. He joked to me "So, whatcha gonna do for me next year?", and I jokingly replied "If I do get you again, then I don't care, I'm going all in and doing City Escape". Lo and behold, I drew him again for 2020's event, and the joke has finally come full circle!
WHEW, this song was a -doozy-, lemme tell ya. I spent the better part of a month on this one. I started this shortly after the Donkey Kong community event ended, then started taking it a bit slowly and making sure I got little details sorted out here and there, then, after building the foundation for the song, and slowly tackling the first verse, totally blitzed the second verse and made it to the ending in no time. I was very careful to make sure I captured every detail I could pick out; I absolutely -had- to do this song justice.
This is one of those quintessential video game anthems; people who don't even -play- video games know this song. And it's one of my favorite songs in gaming :P
Well, I hope you all enjoy! Happy New Year to all!
Mega Man 10 has a really strong overall soundtrack, imo. Not quite on the level of 9's, but still very strong. My favorites from the soundtrack include this one (Nitro Rider), Solar Inferno, Desert Commando, King of Blades, Wily Stages 1, 2, and 3, Heart of Enker, Get the Punk Out, and Farewell to Ballade.
This isn't quite a straight cover, as I added in some background elements to give it a more "16-bit" feel. For the most part, though, I stuck to the flow of the original track. Instrumentation was a little tricky, but I like what I picked out for everything. I hope you all think the same :P
Well, enjoy!
This is a song I've been wanting to do for quite some time, but never thought I could do enough to differentiate it from the many good Mario Paint covers of this song already out there on Youtube. However, now that I've spent a fair amount of time with Giant Mario Paint, I felt I was in a much better place to cover this song and make it stand out from the other covers. Combined with the Donkey Kong: Paintbrush Symphony event, that was all I needed to go ahead with this awesome tune.
This was another fairly difficult song to do, with all kinds of volume control and sustain to manage. Instrumentation was a bit tricky, but eventually, this is what I came up with, and I like how it turned out. I hope you all do, too :P
Well, enjoy!
Well now, Donkey Kong 64. One of Grant Kirkhope's master-class soundtracks of the N64 era. There's a bunch of awesome songs on this soundtrack, but this one sticks out to me. This is the theme that plays as soon as you enter Hideout Helm. King K. Rool has been alerted to the presence of the Kongs and is firing up the Blast-O-Matic, taking aim at DK Isle. You're on a time limit in the first half of this level; it's up to all five Kongs to shut down the Blast-O-Matic before it destroys their home. Depending on how many blueprints you collected and turned in throughout the game, your time limit will grow from a measly ten minutes to a rather excessive fifty minutes.. Find the Blast-O-Matic's power source, play the Kong-specific minigames, and shut down the giant laser cannon.
This song is perfectly fitting for the tense, stressful atmosphere of finding and shutting down the Blast-O-Matic. Lots of strings at every octave imaginable, heavy percussion to punctuate the urgency of your mission, and some brass here and there to accentuate the threat level of King K. Rool and his giant laser cannon. This was a rather difficult song to do, mainly for its length, but also figuring out the best instrumentation to get the sounds I wanted. Also, recording issues reared up again, with instruments clipping and lag spikes. But, this is the end result, and I quite like how it turned out.
Well, enjoy!
Whew, so, Donkey Kong music. There's a reason I haven't done much of it up until now. Even shorter songs like this are -very- time-consuming, and quite difficult at times. It really goes to show, though, that the composers who have brought the Donkey Kong franchise to life with their compositions really knew what they were doing. In this case, David Wise and his team for the Donkey Kong Country games simply made masterpiece after masterpiece.
This is the overworld map theme for Donkey Kong Country 2, where Diddy and Dixie Kong arrive on Crocodile Isle in their bid to rescue Donkey Kong and put an end to their arch-nemesis K. Rool's schemes.
Well, enjoy!
I've been wanting to do music from Sonic Adventure 2 for a very long time, but have always had difficulties with making song from this game. I feel like I'm finally at a point where I can do justice to this game's amazing soundtrack.
This is probably my favorite Eggman level theme in the game, up there next to Cosmic Wall. In doing this song, I had some challenges to overcome; namely, the volume control and note placement. As a result, the overall volume of the song was really tricky to balance. I do like what I've managed to do here, though. Oh, also, it may be a bit slower than the OST due to a tempo gap; it was either a bit too slow, or way too fast on either side of it.
Well, enjoy!
This is also a submission to The Sound of Speed, an event celebrating the music of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Now through July 31st, any Sonic songs done by the Mario Paint community will be compiled into their own playlist.
Here it is, folks; I've saved the best for last! This is a LEGENDARY final boss theme, and one of my all-time favorites in all of gaming. I've wanted to do this song for a very long time, but never felt like I was in a position to do it justice. The S3K Collab was the perfect chance to see if it was finally time to do it, and this is the result! And let me tell ya, this one was a doozy. Timing was a bit tricky, especially in the transition from the intro to the main part. Getting the bass and percussion to not get drowned out was a big challenge with all the other instruments I have going in here, and getting this thing even recorded was a nightmare, with lag spikes aplenty, percussion clipping issues, you name it. But here it is, at long last, Sonic 3 & Knuckles Final Boss!
Well, enjoy!

This song was super-fun to do. The challenges of this song came from the echoes and volume control, but they weren't too terribly challenging, and this ended up being really fun to do. I think the favorite part I did in this is the section before the loop with the sustained Mario/Star/Feather combination. Overall, I think this was my second-best piece from the S3K Collab.
Well, enjoy!

This one was quite the challenge. Not only were there a bunch of SFX to get down, but the timing of the whole song was on the difficult side to properly pinpoint. Even so, I think this is one of my three best pieces to come from the S3K Collab. I've always wanted to do this song, but never felt like I was in the right position to do it justice until the collab came around, and now here we are.
Well, enjoy!

This was another super-fun song to do. The various bits of percussion and SFX were a bit challenging, but ultimately were some of my favorite parts to get down. In Sonic 3 alone, this is in my top three level themes along with Ice Cap Act 2 and Hydrocity Act 2. This song is just super funky and super groovy, and it never fails to get me jivin'

This song was a lot of fun to do. From the SFX done with the yoshis and boats, to the echoes for the main melody, to the chill chords, and the strong percussion to anchor the cover, this one was a joy to do. You could say this song... didn't give me Hard Times :P
Well, enjoy!

This is another song I just really like. It's very repetitive, but I still enjoy it a lot. Probably because of the bassline. It's a jam.
This was also fairly straightforward to do. The hardest part was figuring out the background notes in the first half of the song.
Well, enjoy!

This was another fairly straightforward song to do. The hardest part of this was getting the echoes to sound just right. Other than that, not a difficult song.
Sandopolis Zone is somewhat infamous for being a zone that kinda overstays it's welcome. Specifically, the miniboss in Act 1 and the confusing layout of Act 2. At least the music's good. I really like the overall atmosphere of both acts' themes.
Well, enjoy!

Not a whole lot to say about this one. This was a fairly straightforward piece. This was completed quite a while ago, actually. As in, last year. Just haven't been able to upload it until now since it's a collab piece. But anyway, not too much to say. The most challenging part was the downwards flutter going into the main part of the song.
Well, enjoy!
Well, this was actually quite easy to do. Took me about 4-5 hours total work time for this one. Started and finished in the span of an evening. Not too bad, if I do say so myself. Didn't have too much of an issue with this song; the only challenging bits were the upwards pitchbend in the lead, and the downwards pitchbend at the loop.
This is one of the many well-known jams on the Sonic 2 soundtrack. It's a very strong overall soundtrack, with the likes of Chemical Plant, Mystic Cave, Casino Night, and this song on it. A fantastic soundtrack by Masato Nakamura.
Well, enjoy!
Well, can't say I was expecting to end up doing anything from Sonic 4 at any point, but here we are. Episode 2's music isn't as bad as some may make it out to be; it's really just the synths used that detract from the soundtrack. This song, while extremely repetitive, is honestly one of my favorites from the soundtrack, next to the Metal Sonic boss theme and the Stardust Speedway remix.
Recording this was a nightmare... So many lag spikes, and percussion clipping issues. This recording I got isn't perfect either, as there's still some clipping issues and a slight lag spike towards the end, but I was at my wit's end trying to get this recorded without a hitch, so this is the best I managed to get. Hopefully it isn't too bad.
Well, enjoy!
Well, feels like it's been quite a long time since I've done some Sonic music for the channel. It hasn't been long since I've done Sonic music in general, though; with the Sonic 3 & Knuckles Collab right around the corner, I've been doing a LOT of Sonic music lately. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you; Sonic music is well-known for being generally top-quality stuff.
This is definitely one of my favorite songs on the Genesis/Megadrive 3D Blast soundtrack. It's a combination of power and atmosphere, coupled with a generally somber tone, which makes it really stand out to me. Fire levels in Sonic games generally go for a more upbeat flow, which is certainly the case for Act 1 of Volcano Valley, but the somber, almost melancholy tone of Act 2's theme makes it a real standout to me.
Well, enjoy!
Just like the last one I did, there are 40 songs to guess in this round. Follow the rules in the pinned comment for guessing songs. Winners will also be posted in the pinned comment.

Whew, this song was a BEAST to finish. One loop of this is two minutes long. Finishing this one off was quite an effort. Also, yes, I know it's April Fool's Day, but y'know what? I don't care; you get a proper video from me anyways :P
This is the Brawl remix of Celica's first map theme from Fire Emblem Gaiden, "With Mila's Divine Protection". The remix plays during the Subspace Emissary adventure mode, though it's been so long since I played Brawl that I don't remember exactly where it plays. I think it's when Marth, Ike, and Meta Knight team up. Oh yeah, this is also one of the best remixes Brawl gave us. Along with Meta Knight's Revenge, Super Mario Land Underground Theme, and the guitar solo from the Mute City remix, this stands out among the very best of Brawl's remixes.
Well, enjoy!

I ended up doing a lot of Fire Emblem music for the Smash Collab. In fact, I handled exactly half of the Fire Emblem songs in the collab. This was the first one of the Fire Emblem songs I completed.
This is the 'Victory is Near' theme from Binding Blade, which plays when there's one enemy left on the map. It does a great job of conveying the tone of "Job well done! Now go finish the objective!" if you ask me. I just enjoy Binding Blade's soundtrack in general, though, so I'm kinda biased lol.
Well, enjoy!

The opportunity to do fighting game music came up again in the Smash Collab when Terry Bogard was revealed as a DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Now, I'm not all that familiar with Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters, so I had to take a good long listen to the tracks that made it in to Smash Ultimate. 50 freaking tracks. That took a while to sift through lol. Out of everything they put in to the game, the one that got me hooked on it the most was by far Soy Sauce for Geese. Now, just because I'm not super familiar with SNK fighting games doesn't mean I don't know who Geese Howard is. This crime lord is the progenitor of the phrase "SNK Boss Syndrome". He also has some glorious Engrish voice clips. Also, falling off of buildings really is his thing.
Given my taste in music, anybody who knows me will conclude that ultimately, my song choice here was... PREDICTABO.
Well, enjoy!

I remember saying to myself at one point "I ought to do some fighting game music on Mario Paint". I've made attempts at songs from fighting games in the past, but none have ever come to fruition. When the Smash Collab rolled around, I initially signed up to do Ryu's theme, but after coordinating with fellow Mario Painter AurenTheGuy, he moved his submission of Guile's theme to Ryu's spot, allowing me to pick up Ken's theme for Ken's spot in the collab.
Ken's Theme is my all-time favorite tune from the Street Fighter franchise. I know Guile's theme is the recognizable one thanks to it's legendary meme status, but I've just always preferred Ken's theme. Couldn't tell you why; that's just how it is.
Well, enjoy!

Ok, here's a good question. How has it taken me this long to complete a Zelda song on Mario Paint? It's not for lack of trying, mind you; I've made past attempts to do the likes of Gerudo Valley, Death Mountain, and more, but none of them ever got anywhere close to finishing.
This song should be familiar to pretty much everyone. I haven't met a person who DOESN'T know the Dark World theme. It's one of the first Zelda songs to come to mind outside of the overworld theme.
Well, enjoy!

This was the last big work I did on Super Mario Paint before Giant Mario Paint became a thing. I chose to record this on a previous version of Super Mario Paint to show off the song as intended. Recording this in GMP would've shown it wasn't made with GMP in mind.
This theme is iconic. An era-defining tune, if you ask me, up there with classics from Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Banjo-Kazooie, and more.
Well, enjoy!
This was made for the Mario Paint Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Collab, but ultimately went unused as the collab host, Xanderoni, ran out of editing time. I figured I'd upload this anyway as a bonus bit that only didn't make it in due to time constraints. Watch the Smash Collab here: youtube.com/watch?v=kqW_JTPah0U
This is the last song I ended up doing for the Smash Collab. We were about two days out from the deadline when I finished this. I had to get some variation of the Ultimate main theme done somehow :P
Well, enjoy!
You might consider this filler content. I consider it a teaser. The Mario Paint community's Super Smash Bros. The Mario Paint Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Collab premieres Saturday, February 29th, 2020!
A THIRD upload this week? What is this sudden burst of activity? Well, this was the third and final time I had a hand in something for the Mario Paint Secret Santa event. This one was a surprise gift for RehdBlob, who wasn't participating in the event. If there was anyone deserving of a random surprise gift, it was Rehd. Rehd's done a lot for the community, not the least of which was creating Super Mario Paint to begin with. I also consider Rehd a good friend, so this gift can serve as a 'thank you' from both the community in general, and from me to just say 'thanks for being a friend'.
This is probably my favorite map theme from FE4. It's in this chapter where FE4's story really starts to ramp up. After Sigurd and his allies have subdued the army of Verdane and dealt with the sorcerer controlling things behind the scenes, tensions in the neighboring country of Agustria rise. The king of Agustria is dead and has been succeeded by his incompetent fool of a son. Eldigan, Sigurd's close friend and the head of House Nordion, is being kept in the capital, and his sister Lachesis is facing trouble from the other lords of Agustria. Sigurd and his allies are quick to answer Lachesis' call for help, but the plot only thickens from there.
Well, enjoy!
Another upload so soon? Well, this one was also done for the 2019 Mario Paint Secret Santa event. This was meant as a backup gift for Guds, whose channel you can find here: youtube.com/user/MrGudtavosky
I was getting worried that his assigned secret santa was ghosting the event, so I made this as a backup, but the assigned secret santa didn't ghost, so my fears were unfounded. Instead, I decided to put the song the secret santa did and my backup song together in one video as the gift for Guds.
This song plays, as the title suggests, in the Power Room stage in Mega Man Zero 2. The boss, Phoenix Magnion, has an attack where he grabs you, lifts you into the air, and summons illusion copies of Vile from X1, Agile from X2, Bit from X3, and Colonel from X4 to attack you. It's a really neat easter egg, but a good player will never see that attack hit. Also, this level theme is awesome. MMZ2 has a very metal soundtrack overall.
Well, enjoy!
In keeping with channel tradition (at least, it seems so at this point), the New Year's upload is my submission to the Mario Paint Secret Santa event. For the 2019 event, my gift recipient was GeminiPrincess. Picking out a song for Gems was a lot more difficult than I thought it was going to be. Gems typically enjoys quieter pieces than what I usually do, as well as pieces of a more orchestral nature. I tried quite a number of pieces before eventually saying 'screw it' and picking something that fit in more with my usual style. I think it turned out pretty darn well, though. Oh, you can find Gems' channel here: youtube.com/user/GeminiPrincess69 Be sure to check out her work!
Happy New Year, everyone! Here's to 2020!
Well, I've certainly kept myself busy lately. Between all the events the Mario Paint community is running finding time for channel content was rather difficult. But here we are, with a brand new upload, and just in time for Christmas!
This is a highly recognizable theme, even among those who don't really play Kirby. The Masked Dedede theme debuted in Kirby Super Star Ultra for the Nintendo DS, as the theme that plays against the titular king at the end of the Revenge of the King mode. It returned in Kirby Triple Deluxe for the 3DS, when Masked Dedede returns for revenge. Since then, it's made its way into several Kirby titles in some way, shape, or form.
Well, enjoy! Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it!
Recorded by... myself? Well I'll be.
So, some of you may remember the strawpolls I posted on my community tab a couple months back for a remake project I had been planning. This song was on one of the strawpolls, but wasn't anywhere near the top three spots on either of them. And yet, here we are. This just kinda... happened, to be fair. I know it's not any of the songs I said would be done first in the project, but here's the first one in the remake project regardless.
What can I say about this song, and this soundtrack in general, that hasn't been said a thousand times already? Mega Man X's soundtrack is legendary, and picking a favorite song from it just isn't possible for me. It's kind of insane just how good the soundtrack is and how it's stood the test of time so well.
Well, enjoy!

Time for some more Castlevania music to set the mood for Halloween :P
This song is featured in Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow in the Mine of Judgment area, which is the penultimate area of the game. This song is actually a remix of a song from the old Castlevania arcade game Haunted Castle. Due to a translation error on Konami's part, the song was named Basement Melodies, when, I believe, it was meant to be called Clock Tower Fear or Beat of the Clock Tower. The name "Underground Melodies" has stuck with this song since it's inclusion in Dawn of Sorrow.
This was actually quite fun to make. I think I got the echo effect on the car down quite well, making it sound more like a church organ than I've been able to do in the past.
Well, enjoy, and have a happy Halloween!
