I go through ways of cleaning, inspecting, an replacing the various components. I also address how the insides of the controller differ when doing these repair, depending on the version of the DualSense you have (often called V1 V2 V3 V4 or Gen 1 2 3 4, or BDM 010 020 030 040). The later solutions include a partial teardowns, and I show how to tell which version you have.
