I made this video primarily in the hopes that people will use this info to make even better and more interesting levels building on this concept. The removal of downloaded level viewing/editing unfortunately makes this kind of iteration a bit more difficult in Mario Maker 2.

Lastly, a note: One of the reasons it took so long to finish this review was because I tried to spread myself pretty thin across this and my other ongoing projects. It really only gained momentum when I put a stronger focus on it. By far the hardest of the three courses I did, this one took me a while, and I had to switch to a character I was unfamiliar with because Pipsy just wasn't fast enough.

Donkey Kong Country: Kremling's Revenge is a ROM hack of the first Donkey Kong Country game. In many aspects it could be considered to be a "Kaizo" Donkey Kong Country, with an emphasis on creating very challenging levels, at the expense of visual cohesiveness in many of them. It's an interesting hack but I wouldn't recommend it due to its sometimes needlessly-high difficulty and occasionally just plain lazy level design (lots of narrow platforms with Krushas, and all of the water levels are a single screen long).
This is the final stage in the game, which I completed not too long ago. I've been trying to express to people just how nuanced the difficulty is in this utter marathon of a stage, but words couldn't do it justice, so I decided to make it my first Tool-Assisted video. As you can see, the level is pretty unforgiving.
Oh, and for those wondering, the re-record count was 280.
