Can I include a prologue? - Novel writing Dan Hook 2021-08-03 | The question most people tend to ask is whether you can use a prologue, and/or epilogue. In this video I discuss the topic alongside my own use and experiences with them.In some cases, a prologue can be helpful, but for others it might hinder the start of your book (not something you want to do if you're trying to bring in new readers).Epilogues can also be a useful tool as well, for rounding off a story or bringing in a cliffhanger!
