Canon C100 LUTs Workflow Cameron Brown 2016-06-02 | I wanted to try to figure out the best workflow for using the Canon EOS C100 in terms of shooting then grading. So I shot in C-log and used AbelCine's free 3D LUTs as well as Resolve's C-log - 709 1D preset to convert the log to Rec709. I know LUTs aren't supposed to be the "magic bullet" but I simply wanted to see which one got the best result!The idea is to add the LUT, then do a quick adjustment of exposure and colour and be on your way. Simple but when presented with all these LUTS, I just had to test them all!I included a waveform so as you can see the contrast and exposure correction.The Resolve 1D LUT is the exact same as the Canon official 3D one. The legal ones are apparently supposed to not make the black and highlights peak but just seemed to have reduced the contrast really.They also have the following: C-log - Cineon, C-log - Rec709 and C-log - WideDR. There's no need for Cineon or WideDR for me so I only use Rec709.Thanks for reading!might do another video testing this.

Cycling Down a Giant Hill, Spain! Cameron Brown 2015-10-23 | Filmed in Asturias, Northern Spain. Unity Pick-up Rigidbody Physics Test Cameron Brown 2014-03-08 | A test for a script I made where you press E and it picks any object up with the tag "PickUp". It's like in Skyrim or Portal etc.The problems in this so far is that the object will always be picked up unless the E button is released. If the object goes behind a wall and the FPS controller walk away, the object will stay there. The way to fix this is to check how far away the object is from the camera and if it's too far away, release it. i will add that soon!I will be showing you how I made this soon.
