The goal of this update was to fix all of the bugs/skips that 2.2 introduced (thanks Rob), as well as nerf some chokepoints that people were complaining about. The level should hopefully be a lot more enjoyable now. I've unlisted my other two verification videos as they're outdated now, but you can find them linked at the bottom of this description. Special thanks to @Dagger21 and @exerity for giving feedback and helping out with the changes.

It's also worth mentioning that you can't practice this level with start positions at the moment due to a 2.2 bug with follow triggers. I have no idea when this will be fixed, but hopefully it won't be a problem by the time 2.21 comes out.

Luqualizer 2024-02-27 | First victor! I was really interested in beating this when I first saw it, and I managed to get it done in one day with a fluke from 67%. I'm a big fan of the progression in this level, something that was notably absent from True Values of Life. This progression alongside the intensity of the song made for a great experience overall. This will probably end up being an easy extreme. Most of the gameplay is straightforward and sightreadable, but you need very good endurance and nerve control to beat this, especially considering how difficult the last 10% is. Props to Renn and everyone else involved, and I hope this can get rated soon!

[Deathless] Geometry Dash - I Wanna Be The Guy by Orelu (1:17.783)

A few days ago, I had the thought that it would be cool to do a deathless run on this level. I didn't know if I was actually capable of doing it or not, though, so I started doing speedruns to see how consistent I could get. My PB quickly dropped from 5 minutes to just under 2 minutes, and soon after that I unexpectedly got a time of 1:33.704, just half a second behind world record at the time. Even though it wasn't my original goal, this motivated me to go for world record at the same time as deathless. I eventually got the record with a time of 1:27.145, dying 3 times during the run in total. I wasn't ready to stop yet, however, as I had made up my mind to try and get world record and deathless in the same run. Little did I know what a brutal grind I would be in for. I had to play for around 14 hours in total over the course of 2 days to get this run, and I died almost 20 times on the final screen in the process. This is by far the hardest thing I've done in platformer mode yet, and I'm immensely proud of this achievement. I have no plans to improve this time, so good luck to anyone that attempts to beat it!

Note that the song is edited in, as I turned off the music to help me focus. This is also why there are no pulses. This record was a massive pain to get, and I'm most likely done with this level now. I felt like going for a top time on this level yesterday, and after a few hours of grinding I managed to get this run. This is the world record as of now, so that's pretty cool (edit: this isn't WR anymore). Special thanks to @FinIey for showing me the most optimal route possible, as well as @Wh1t3Bl4d3 for the skip at 0:38. I probably won't attempt to improve this record any further, since there's barely any time left to save at this point.

2.2 is incredible so far, and I've been having a ton of fun messing around with all the new features. I also bought a 240hz monitor recently, and it's boosted my enjoyment of the update even more. I don't have plans to beat any list demons at the moment, especially since a lot of them are broken now, but that might change once the physics bugs are fixed.

It doesn't really fit my skillset at all, but I still had a lot of fun with it. No deaths past 70% either, which is nice. The verification that I mentioned earlier is on the threshold of being finished, and there's a good chance that I'll be able to get it out by this weekend, so stay tuned for that.

Luqualizer 2023-10-09 | This is a collab hosted by Kapinapi and ViralDL that was in the works for almost three years. Around a week ago, right when it was on the verge of being finished, Kapi hit me up asking if I wanted to verify. I was pleasantly surprised, and after playing through all the parts in a copy, I decided to accept the verification. My laptop isn't good enough to run full detail without lagging, which was a bit annoying to deal with, but I still had a ton of fun with this level despite a death at 96%. I'd recommend it to anyone that enjoys wave-based extremes, as it's essentially an extended wave challenge. As for difficulty, I'm not entirely sure how hard this is, but it will most likely place somewhere in the middle of the extended list. Special thanks to Kapi for giving me the opportunity to verify this; I haven't verified anything in a very long time, and it was nice to have that experience again.

Just to clarify, this isn't the verification that I mentioned in my previous video. That level is still a work in progress, and I'm not sure if it will be finished before 2.2 or not.

Luqualizer 2023-10-02 | Just like Escape Room, this was a bit of an unplanned completion. A few of my friends came up with the idea of racing a list demon in secret and uploading it at the same time, and they wanted me to participate. I've always enjoyed level races, so I couldn't resist joining this one. We decided on this level because very few people have done it and we thought it would be cool to double the amount of victors if possible. There were several challenges that I faced in the process of beating this, though. Now that I'm at college again, I can only play GD on my laptop, which has a significant amount of input delay. This makes list demons extremely difficult, even with 288fps, and I definitely struggled with this a lot more than I should have thanks to the extra delay. I also had to rebeat this because Shadowplay didn't record my mic audio during the first completion (which was a fluke from 63%, to add insult to injury). The rebeat wasn't fun in the slightest, but fortunately I got pretty lucky with it. It's a relief to be done with this level, and I can't say I'd recommend it, as it's littered with chokepoints that make playing from the beginning a miserable experience.

Geometry Dash - Escape Room by SleyGD

Luqualizer 2023-09-24 | So I know I said Limbo was going to be my last 2.1 completion, but I was able to travel home for a short vacation from college this weekend, and I took the opportunity to get this level out of the way. (I learned it a few months ago, but originally wanted to wait till 2.2 to beat it.) It was a stressful experience, since I had very limited time to play, but luckily I was able to get it done relatively quickly despite a death at 97%. About the level itself, I really like the theme and song, but unfortunately the gameplay is very chokepoint-oriented and frustrating. There are tons of difficulty spikes scattered throughout the beginning and middle sections, and the ending is straight up unfair. There's another list demon I beat earlier this month that I'm going to upload soon, and I'm currently the verifier of a level that may or may not get finished before 2.2, but besides that I don't plan to beat anything else before the update.

Now that I've beaten Limbo on 144hz, I'm fully satisfied with what I've accomplished on that refresh rate, and I'm going to be using bypass (or whatever the 2.2 equivalent of bypass is) for all of my completions from now on. I've also created a new playlist to show these completions.

Geometry Dash - LIMBO by MindCap (and others)

Luqualizer 2023-08-20 | Before I say anything else, I'd like to clarify that @luigidb2 was the first person to beat this on 144hz, not me. They're a very skilled player, and you should definitely go check them out.

When MindCap first approached me about his brand new project in early 2020, I was super excited. Not only was it a memory demon, my favorite type of level, it had a stacked creator roster and a sick color scheme. And on top of all that, he was giving me the opportunity to verify it! I accepted instantly, and over the course of the next few months I eagerly waited as the first few parts came together. Unfortunately, things didn't quite work out as planned, and in early-mid 2021 I dropped the level for various reasons. Its fate was uncertain at this point, due to MindCap's absence from the community, but eventually he made his return and development resumed. The level was finished in late 2021, and BGram managed to pull through with the verification about a year later. My interest in Limbo had dwindled after dropping it, but when I saw that it was finally released, I decided to give it a try.

Before I could start doing runs, I had to learn all the parts, which was a very daunting process. Luckily this didn't take too long, and I surprised myself afterwards with some fast progress, getting 31-100% in a little under a week. My motivation started to dip around this time, though, as the first 30% of the level is extremely difficult to get consistent at. It felt like I had finally hit a wall. After struggling with this section for a few more days, I decided to take an indefinite break from Limbo, but I promised myself that I'd return to it at some point over the summer.

Once my summer break started, I came back to the level right away. It still felt slightly out of reach for me, but I knew that I could do it if I committed to it. Sure enough, I was finally becoming more consistent, and sometime in early June I got a new best of 48%, as well as a 27-100% run. Unfortunately, I lost nearly all of my motivation shortly after this, and my progress slowed to a crawl as a result. I could no longer play the level for long periods of time without getting bored, and eventually I stopped playing it altogether. There's a good chance that I would've kept sitting on it until the end of my break if it weren't for Cobrablitz's Slaughterhouse completion in early August. Most extreme demon completions don't mean much to me anymore, probably because I've witnessed hundreds and hundreds of them over the years, but this one felt different. Seeing Cobra overcome his own struggle was very inspiring to me, and I believe this gave me the motivation I needed to finish Limbo once and for all.

I returned to the level once again on the 12th, and this time I was determined to beat it no matter what. Despite how inactive I'd been, my consistency was just as good as ever, and I managed to pull off a crazy 18-100% run the same day, as well as a new best of 49%. These runs motivated me to keep playing Limbo even more than I already was, and the very next day the unthinkable happened: I died at 89% as a fluke from 49%. This death was devastating, and the failed fluke made it hurt even more. I knew I had to keep going, though, since my summer break was about to end. Getting back to the second half proved to be a massive struggle, and my confidence was beginning to falter, but on the 18th a miracle happened. On this day, out of nowhere, I managed to beat the level. It feels like my entire GD career has lead up to this moment, and I couldn't be more proud. Special thanks to all my friends, as well as everyone that's supported me over the past few years. I love this game and I'll never forget the impact it has had on my life.

With that all out of the way, there are a few important things I should mention. You may have noticed that there are no pulses at all, and that is because I beat this with no music (the song was edited in). I recently discovered that if you set the in-game music slider to zero, your input delay will decrease by a noticeable amount. This may sound like it's placebo, but I promise that it's not. I've always been able to play levels just fine without audio, so when I discovered this trick, I decided to take advantage of it to make my Limbo experience a bit easier. Additionally, I was in a call when I beat this, but the call audio has been edited out. You can hear me press my deafen key at 2:27. Lastly, I had to lower the volume of my reaction since it was really loud, which is why it sounds like there's a cut at 3:20 (even though this isn't actually the case).

This is my last 2.1 completion, and my last 144hz completion by extension, since physics are going to work differently in 2.2. I don't have any plans for when the update comes out, but I'll definitely still be around in the community regardless. See you all then!

Geometry Dash - Instinct by ItsHybrid (and others)

Luqualizer 2023-08-01 | It feels great to beat something hard again after months of inactivity. This is the third level in the Pokémon Go series, and it just came out last month after being stuck in development hell for years. I decided to give this a try after hearing good things about the gameplay, and it didn't disappoint in the slightest. There are a few jank parts that brought down my enjoyability a bit, but overall I had a lot of fun with this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a challenge. I haven't been playing much GD lately, hence the lack of uploads, but I'll try to grind out a few more levels before the summer ends (no promises though).

Luqualizer 2023-03-09 | Yes, I beat this in practice mode. I was racking up a lot of deaths in the first half of the level, so I did a practice run to try and improve my consistency a bit, and I ended up not dying a single time during the run. I do a lot of practice runs on levels in general, even when I'm close to beating them, so it's honestly really surprising that this has never happened to me on a list demon till now. Luckily these types of runs are accepted on the list, so I don't have to worry about rebeating this. I did use noclip for the stars afterwards, which I hope is understandable. (I also have a hack turned on that enables pulses during practice mode, if you were curious about that.) The level itself was pretty fun to learn and beat, although it does have some bad parts here and there. I was actually going to beat this years ago, but kept putting it off for whatever reason.

Edit: I felt bad about noclipping this for the stars (since it's technically cheating from the perspective of a stargrinder), so I decided to rebeat this in normal mode. Geometry Dash - Theory of Darkness by GW Indra (and Koopi)

Luqualizer 2022-06-13 | This is a remake of Theory of Darkness by Koopi, a level that was the hardest demon in late 2015 for a few days before getting unrated. It was largely forgotten about until a few months ago, when Stormfly became the first victor of the original version. Feel free to read his description for more info. Anyway, I was given the opportunity to verify this a few weeks ago. The version I received was insanely difficult, possibly even top 10, but also borderline unplayable. With permission from the creator, I nerfed the unfair parts as much as I could to make them better. The level's a lot easier now, probably barely main list worthy at this point, but also significantly better as a whole. You can find it uploaded under the account GWIndr4hh. This is totally worthy of a rate in my opinion, so hopefully that can happen eventually.

Luqualizer 2022-05-27 | I started this with pretty low expectations due to a friend’s awful experience with it, and it turned out to be just as bad to play as expected. A lot of the gameplay feels like it was structured carelessly, and there’s so many random chokepoints that feel completely unnecessary. The transitions need some serious work as well. On the other hand, the decoration is pretty solid, but the issues I mentioned drag the level’s overall quality down a ton. Would not recommend.

Luqualizer 2022-05-20 | I couldn't find any low extended lists I was interested in playing, so I decided to give this classic a try. As expected, the skewed balancing was a chore to deal with, but the level as a whole wasn't terrible or anything. I actually had fun with a lot of the drop parts. It just sucks that you have to sit through over a minute of (relatively) easy gameplay before reaching them.

Luqualizer 2022-05-16 | This was the last memory list demon I had left to beat, and it turned out to be slightly underwhelming. Some of the gameplay in this level is extremely jank, and the optimization is so poor that you’re basically forced to play on LDM. The last UFO in particular is a massive chokepoint, even more so than the Killbot ending in my opinion, and I got incredibly lucky with only two deaths there. With all that being said, though, this level somehow managed to be very fun despite the chokepoints, and I ended up having a good time with it. Would recommend.

Geometry Dash - GONER by Nightning

Luqualizer 2022-05-11 | So my first year of college just ended, meaning I'm probably going to try beating some list demons again. I decided to go for this because it's a memory demon with an incredibly chaotic theme, two qualities that I really enjoy in levels. My experience was alright, but I do wish that the visual cues in the wave were slightly more visible; the lack of visibility made some segments feel incredibly luck-based no matter what I did. I even had to turn on icon glow to make things a bit easier. Maybe I'm just rusty, who knows? At least I got lucky with a fluke from 67%.

Geometry Dash - Sakupen Realm by Meatius (and others)

Luqualizer 2022-03-12 | Lately I've been interested in playing unrated levels for a change, and after being reminded of this monstrosity I knew I had to give it a try. For those not familiar with this level, it was "verified" by Meatius after 110k attempts in 2017, and was very controversial at the time due to hacking allegations. No one has beaten this since its release, which makes sense considering it's one of the worst levels I've ever played. I could go on for ages about the issues in this level, but most of them should be pretty obvious. The first wave is the hardest part by miles, and the first 32% in general carries the difficulty entirely. 32-100% actually has some pretty fun parts, but the balancing makes it difficult to enjoy them. As for difficulty, this is easily harder than Erebus and probably harder than Sonic Wave as well, meaning it was indeed top 1 when it came out. I kinda regret picking this up, but at the same time it was a funny experience so I can't complain too much. If anyone wants to help get this rated, be my guest.

Geometry Dash - Never Beat It by HeroZombie80

Luqualizer 2022-01-01 | The main reason I picked this up is because I wanted to try fluking a list demon from 0%, and this level seemed like one of the best options due to its learny and straightforward gameplay. I prepared as much as I could for this, doing runs like 7-100% multiple times, but unfortunately I choked at the very beginning on my first normal mode attempt. It turns out that this level wasn't a very good choice for this sort of thing after all; the gameplay is filled with difficulty spikes, and this combined with the length means my chances of pulling off a 0% fluke were low from the beginning. Although I did end up fluking this from 55%, I was still pretty upset about the choke mentioned earlier, which is why I sounded so pissed at the end; apologies for that. On a more positive note, Happy New Year to everyone watching! I don't have anything particularly special planned for 2022, but I'm looking forward to seeing how this year goes anyway.

Luqualizer 2021-12-23 | This was a really interesting experience. Although I've seen plenty of people describe this level as boring, "frustrating" is a better word for it. I never really found myself getting bored, but the sheer difficulty of the predrop made playing from the beginning incredibly annoying at times. The drop isn't easy at all either, and I ended up with around 20 deaths at it, including 5 deaths at the robot. Regardless of how tough this was to beat, I'm still a huge fan of this level and would consider it one of the most atmospheric extreme demons. As for placement opinion, I think this is underrated and should go above Kowareta at least; it's timing hell for three minutes with little to no breaks. This will probably be my last completion of 2021. Thank you guys for a great year!

Geometry Dash - The Hell Trinity by Stormfly (and others)

Luqualizer 2021-12-19 | A new hell level just dropped, and it's a really solid one. The gameplay is surprisingly good besides a few chokepoints here and there, and the decoration not being hell-themed for once is really refreshing. I also had no deaths past 25%, making this one of my biggest flukes in a long time.

Minecraft - No Hit Run (1.18)

Luqualizer 2021-12-11 | So recently I watched a YouTuber beat Minecraft without taking any damage, and as someone who loves doing hard stuff in video games, I wanted to try this challenge myself. A few days ago, I managed to pull off this run much sooner than I'd expected, but unfortunately I didn't have a full recording of the attempt. Yesterday, I was able to accomplish this again on recording, and I did it with no shield this time to make things a bit harder. The first run felt incredibly difficult, but that's probably because I'd been improvising strategies on the spot. Once I learned how to tackle everything, this challenge became significantly easier; it only took me a few more attempts before I was able to accomplish this a second time. Regardless, I'm still proud of this achievement and consider it noteworthy enough for a public upload.

Here's a quick rundown of all the strategies I used, in case anyone watching wants to try this for themselves:
- Get a bed immediately and sleep through every night
- Find a village as soon as possible; trade sticks/wheat for emeralds, trade emeralds for bow/arrows/enchanted books
- Enchanted books are optional, but Looting and Power can speed things up a lot; if you go for these enchants, you'll need to mine a lot of extra iron for an anvil
- Avoid open caves at all costs; underwater caves are the safest way to get ores
- Mine at least 3 diamonds for a pickaxe; you'll want to bring an extra 10 obsidian to the Nether for a return portal
- Bastions and piglin trading in general should be avoided (unless you find a bastion with easily accessible gold like I did)
- The safest way to get blaze rods is to tunnel underneath the spawner and make a pit for blazes to fall in; note that this method is extremely slow, and unless you have Looting it can take upwards of an hour to get all the rods you need
- Warped forests are the best place to farm pearls, although villager trading is another option if you'd rather play it safe
- You can walk through the stronghold as long as you're careful, but tunneling above the portal room is the easiest way to avoid silverfish
- Wearing a carved pumpkin in the End means you won't have to worry about endermen; use F1 to make the mask effect disappear

I'm on break again, but beating this gave me a lot of arm pain, so I don't think I'll be going for any other levels right now.

Geometry Dash - True Values of Life by Relayx (and others)

Luqualizer 2021-10-25 | Recently I felt like playing something unusual for once, and I thought this would be an interesting choice, so I decided to go for it. As you guys probably know already, this level is 48 minutes long, miles longer than any other level I've played. The vast majority of the gameplay is sightreadable, and very few parts even come close to demon difficulty. However, some sections here and there have memory-based elements that you'll need to learn, such as the city part at 30:26 and the part with slopes right after it. Most of the difficulty comes from memorizing these sections and their positions in the level, as well as a few semi-blind transitions (31:25 for example). You'll also need tons of free time if you plan on going for this level; it took me around 8 hours of playtime, more than some list demons I've beaten. My worst deaths were 83% and 84% because I freaked out and forgot what to do at the transitions. I don't know if I'd recommend this, but feel free to give this a try if you want a unique experience.

Luqualizer 2021-08-13 | Surprise! I first started this back in June as part of a race with several other people. Although my motivation was high at first, I eventually became bored of the level (and GD in general) after weeks of grinding with little to no progress. An entire month went by without me touching the game. With my summer break rapidly coming to an end, I decided it was finally time to start bypassing (288fps to be specific). This restored my motivation entirely, and just a few days later, I died at 98% as a fluke from 71%. Needless to say, this death really messed me up mentally, and on top of this my hand was beginning to hurt a lot. These factors, combined with my shrinking free time, put intense pressure on me to finish the level as soon as possible. Thankfully, after a few more hours of grinding and multiple additional deaths past 70%, I was able to beat this the very next day. It's a huge relief to have this done, and I'm especially glad I was able to finish this off as a top 1, since I've always wanted to beat the hardest demon in the game at some point in time. This is also my 200th list record, a milestone that I'm incredibly proud of.

As mentioned earlier, my summer break ends very soon, and I'm starting college in about a week. My free time and motivation to play video games will most likely tank once that happens, meaning this may very well be my last (difficult) completion in this game. If that turns out to be the case, I'd like to thank everyone for sticking with me throughout all these years. I'm very happy with what I was able to accomplish as a player, and I'm very grateful for all the support you guys have given me.

Lastly, for those curious, my best runs on 144hz were 52%, 23-78%, and 46-100%. I doubt I'll ever have the time or motivation to attempt this again on 144hz, but it's definitely doable and I hope someone pulls it off one day.

Celeste - All Golden Strawberries

Luqualizer 2021-07-18 | Back in 2018, I decided to attempt this challenge for fun, and managed to make it through most of the goldens. Unfortunately, I wasn't good enough or patient enough to finish the last few at the time. Recently, I felt motivated to play this game again, and was able to grind out the remaining goldens in the span of a few weeks. I've wanted to do this for a very long time, so it feels amazing to have this done. I'd like to clarify a few things, but first I'll talk about the game itself for those who have never played or watched it.

Celeste is a platformer about climbing a mountain that came out in 2018. There are eight main chapters, as well as a ninth that was released as DLC in 2019. The first eight chapters each have three separate “sides”; the B-Sides can be unlocked as you play through the A-Sides, and the C-Sides unlock after all B-Sides are completed. Golden strawberries are collectibles that unlock at the same time as the C-Sides. They can only be obtained by completing a chapter without dying. There are three golden strawberries in each of the first eight chapters (one for each side), as well as a single golden strawberry in the ninth chapter. There's also a special golden strawberry that can be obtained by completing the first chapter's A-Side without dashing a single time, bringing the total amount of goldens to 26.

Two of these goldens have edited audio: The Summit B-Side (aka 7b) and Farewell. While playing 7b, I turned off the music in order to focus, and had to edit it in afterwards. This was easy enough to do, and the resulting video should sound completely normal. In Farewell's case, though, I was listening to my own music during the successful attempt, and therefore had to replace the existing audio entirely. There are no sound effects for this reason, and some of the transitions between tracks may be weird, although I tried my best to make the music as natural-sounding as possible. (There are a few minor details that I chose not to include because they would've taken too long to edit in.) I should also clarify that the strawberry count that shows up every time I collect a golden doesn't represent the actual order that I did them in. My main save had most of the goldens by the time I started recording this video, so I used a modified save to make all goldens appear as uncollected. Lastly, I chose not to skip any cutscenes in the A-Sides so that people unfamiliar with the story can follow along with it.

I didn't enjoy this nearly as much as Darkened; some of the gameplay feels really jank, and the UFO has too much spam for my liking. Regardless, this was still an interesting experience, and I'd like to see more levels like this on the list.

Five minutes later, I managed to fluke this from 27%. This level is incredibly well-made and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys timing-based stuff.

Luqualizer 2021-06-04 | I was hoping to have a great time with this, but unfortunately my luck ended up being pretty shit, with deaths at 96%, 94% and 93%. On top of this, I experienced a handful of bugs that were incredibly frustrating to deal with, the worst offender being a toggle orb at 43% that killed me every other time I got there. Despite what my experience may suggest, this is still a phenomenal list demon, and I'd highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys learny levels and wants a challenge. If you do attempt this, though, be prepared to die at the ending a lot; the duals there make it one of the hardest sections of the level.

Luqualizer 2021-05-28 | This was frustrating at first, then became fun after I got consistent, and started to be frustrating again once I began dying at the end a ton. I ended up with a total of 4 deaths at or past 80%, which I’d say is below average luck on this level. Overall, this is a really solid top 20 gameplay-wise, but I don’t recommend playing this on 144 due to how difficult the ships and waves are (especially in the first half).

This was a wild ride for me. I started this about a week ago with the intention of finally topping my previous hardest after a year. This level felt really intimidating at first, and it took me a while to work up the confidence to play from 0%. Eventually, though, I began to get incredibly consistent at the first half, and after getting to TMN a few times I somehow fluked all the way from 63% to 90%. The very next morning, a similar run happened out of nowhere, except I died at 94% this time. These deaths really shook me up, but a few hours later I sat down and began playing once again. The grind that ensued is probably one of the best sessions I've ever had in this game consistency-wise; I managed to pass Failure a total of 7 times within the course of two hours, and even died at 75% just a few minutes before the completion attempt. Overall, I'm very happy with how my Zodiac experience went, and I feel like I'd be much more confident playing levels in this difficulty range now. As always, thank you guys for your continuous support.

I'm sure some people will question my attempts, so I'll try to elaborate on them a bit. A few months ago, I had to get 28% for the roulette, and unfortunately I didn't check how many attempts that took me, so the 1k extra attempts at the end are an estimate (assuming I took a few hundred for the roulette + another few hundred from messing around back when the level came out). This means that the number 5.8k is a bit of a placeholder; my actual attempts most likely fall somewhere between 5.5k and 6k. If you don't want to believe this number, that's fine. I wish I could prove that I'm telling the truth, but there isn't really any way for me to do that.

The effects aged remarkably well, but this ended up being a pretty disappointing experience overall. Even though a few sections were nerfed, like the ball, other sections are harder for no reason. This combined with the fact that all of the gameplay is basically identical to the original made this really boring and infuriating to play. Glad to be done with the SW remakes again.

Geometry Dash - Silent Club by Play 1107696

Luqualizer 2021-04-27 | First off, apologies for uploading this so late. My editing software kept messing up the vid, and I didn't have time to figure out what was going on earlier, so I wasn't able to get this out till today. I'd also like to clarify that this is the verification of the rated version of Silent Club. My other video of this level is a 1.9 completion that happened several months ago. Another thing worth mentioning is that I bypassed to 288fps both times I beat this. Anyway, moving on to some history.

Silent Club is a 1.6 level that was created by Play 1107696 (aka blackP2Sfull) and uploaded on April 1st, 2014. It was quickly rated, and soon rose to notoriety, for good reason. Its difficulty far outclassed most levels at the time, with a few exceptions such as unnerfed Stereo Demoness. Over the course of the next year, little to no progress would be made on this level, mainly due to hardware limitations and players not being skilled enough. Sadly, Silent Club was unrated in early 2015 for unclear reasons, possibly because Cyclic discovered a (fake) secret way at the beginning. It's also possible that Rob unrated it simply because it was obviously hacked. Either way, the level faded into obscurity for quite some time after this. Despite being the inspiration for one of the biggest series in the game, the silent series, Silent Club itself was forgotten for the most part. Although a handful of rebalanced versions would eventually be verified, such as Superex's version, none of these retained the infamous orb spams between 44% and 52%. These spam sections are so stupidly inconsistent that they discouraged people from attempting the unnerfed version for over six years.

I stumbled across this level by chance when I was younger, and I've been intrigued by it ever since. I considered attempting it a few times, and last year I finally decided to give it a shot after getting a new mouse. In October, I managed to beat this on the 1.9 private server after weeks of grinding, making me the first victor of the unnerfed version. I wasn't entirely satisfied with this achievement, though; it felt like the level had yet to receive closure. A few months later, I approached Viprin about Silent Club to see if a fixed version had any chance of getting a rate in 2.1. To my surprise, he said yes, and even guaranteed that it would be rated if verified legitimately. The thought of Silent Club being on the list was more than enough motivation for me to come back to it. Unfortunately, I was dealing with major arm problems at the time, and had to postpone the verification process for a while as a result. Thankfully, my arm pain eventually went away (for the most part), and earlier this month I began grinding the level once again. After a few days of uneventful sessions, and just one death at the 50% spam this time, this lucky attempt came out of nowhere. It's amazing to see this rated again after being unrated for so long, and I'm glad I was able to make such a cool contribution to the game. Best of luck to anyone who attempts this.

This version fixes the layered orbs from 46% to 50%, which no longer work properly thanks to 2.1. Although the original version is technically still possible, it requires ridiculous click patterns that were clearly not intended by the creator (you have to triple click at two of the orbs), so I figured it made sense to verify a fixed version instead. I also fixed a secret way at the last ship that allowed you to slip through the saws at the top and bottom, skipping the corridor altogether. This wasn't possible in 1.9, but at some point Rob made saw hitboxes smaller for whatever reason. (There's another secret way at the very end that involves jumping over the ship portal, but I chose not to fix it as it's always been possible and requires a tight timing anyway.) You can still play the original version by turning on the LDM; this reverts the orb fixes and the secret way fix.

As for difficulty, this felt harder than Bloodlust for me. However, I'm not the best at spam, and this level is incredibly skillset based, so realistically it could end up anywhere from #10 to #30 on the list. I'd be surprised if it doesn't place somewhere in the top 20, though.

Luqualizer 2021-04-01 | This level greatly exceeded my expectations. I had expected this to be significantly worse than Bausha, due to my friends' poor experiences on it, but it ended up being pretty fun. Every part becomes incredibly consistent after some practice. My only real complaint would be the odd gameplay/structuring in HJfod's part, especially 68%.

I'd also like to clarify that the audio is edited in due to the nature of the conversation that took place. I won't be making the raw footage public, but the list team will have access to it. The end of the video is just me accidentally resetting.

Lastly, Michi. His passing at such a young age is incredibly sad. He was a player that I always looked up to, and although we only spoke to each other a handful of times, anyone who interacted with him could tell he was a kind soul. Rest in peace, man. Your contributions to this game will never be forgotten.

Overall, this level isn't the worst thing in the world, but there are a bunch of issues that drag it down, such as the boring predrop and the incredibly janky dual gameplay.

Luqualizer 2021-03-11 | Feels good to beat something this hard again. This is an unrated extreme that just got verified about a week ago. My experience with this was pretty weird; I got 78% almost immediately after I started playing from 0, but it took me a few more hours of playtime before I could finish this off. Surprisingly, I had no deaths at the last ship and only one death at the last wave, both of which are huge chokepoints. School has been very time-consuming for me lately, so I’m glad I was able to finish this off relatively quickly.

About the level itself, the gameplay is outstanding. It’s similar to Kowareta in the sense that it feels impossible at first, but eventually becomes very consistent. There aren’t really any obvious flaws that I noticed; if it weren’t for my dumb fails in the second half and some minor arm pain, my enjoyment would’ve been 9/10 or even 10/10. The decoration is nothing special, but still deserving of a rate for sure, so hopefully that can happen soon. As for difficulty, I think this could place in the high 20s, somewhere around The Yandere.

Geometry Dash - Alpha Baa X by Eggnog (and Swithical)

Luqualizer 2021-01-29 | This is a pretty cool remake of Alphabet X that just got rated a few weeks ago. The original is one of my favorite pre-1.9 demons, and I think this level did a good job of preserving its charm. I mainly beat this since it's knocking Bloodbath off the list soon and I wanted to contribute to its placement. The song is edited over my clicks since I was in class during the completion attempt (I didn't react for the same reason).

Also, for those who didn't see my updated Cybernetic description, I developed a repetitive strain injury in my arm (most likely tennis elbow) around two weeks ago. It's gotten much better since, which is why I was able to quickly grind this out, but I still haven't fully recovered, so don't expect me to play any other hard levels for a while.

Luqualizer 2021-01-08 | First victor! I started grinding this as soon as it came out, and managed to fluke it from 68% this morning out of nowhere, which is ridiculous. This level is somewhat unbalanced, but I still had a lot of fun with it. As for difficulty, I originally thought this was harder than Yatagarasu, but now I think it could go somewhere around Erebus. The main parts to watch out for are Viprin, Vlacc, and Devon. I've seen this level get a lot of criticism lately, but personally I think it came out pretty well overall; props to the creators.

Now that I've beaten this, I'll be going on hiatus from the game for a bit. I've been dealing with major finger/arm pain for the last few weeks, and it doesn't seem to be getting any better, so my only option appears to be taking a break from extremes for a while.

I was expecting to get pretty average luck on this, since the extension was giving me a lot of trouble, but I ended up not dying past 76%, which is nice. Third hardest demon (not counting Silent Club, which is probably harder than this). I was listening to something when I beat this, so I had to edit the song over my clicks, which is why you don't hear any music at the very beginning.

My expectations were pretty low when I started this, but it ended up being much more fun than I anticipated. The balancing is pretty bad, with the first 20% being miles harder than the rest of the level, but since most of the parts get consistent this wasn't too big of an issue. I managed to get incredibly lucky with the second half as well, fluking from 57%, which is great. Audio was edited in due to vacuum cleaner noises in the background.

This is also my last 2020 completion. Thank you guys for making this year an incredible one for me (GD-wise)!

Geometry Dash - Rage by nSwish (and others)

Luqualizer 2020-12-23 | This was not a very fun experience. Here are some of the things that brought this level down for me:
- The ship is stupidly hard, especially compared to the parts before it.
- The wave is incredibly hard to learn and the decoration makes it nearly impossible to see where to go. One section in particular at 46% has a really awkward click pattern.
- The second half has tons of spam, especially the ball, which has some very questionable orb timings.
- I got pretty unlucky, dying over 20 times past the wave and around 10 times at the ball. Fortunately, I only died once at the robot.

Even though I didn't enjoy this level's gameplay that much, I will say that the idea behind it is pretty interesting. I personally wouldn't recommend this, but other victors have enjoyed it, so feel free to give it a shot if you want.
