A few days ago, I had the thought that it would be cool to do a deathless run on this level. I didn't know if I was actually capable of doing it or not, though, so I started doing speedruns to see how consistent I could get. My PB quickly dropped from 5 minutes to just under 2 minutes, and soon after that I unexpectedly got a time of 1:33.704, just half a second behind world record at the time. Even though it wasn't my original goal, this motivated me to go for world record at the same time as deathless. I eventually got the record with a time of 1:27.145, dying 3 times during the run in total. I wasn't ready to stop yet, however, as I had made up my mind to try and get world record and deathless in the same run. Little did I know what a brutal grind I would be in for. I had to play for around 14 hours in total over the course of 2 days to get this run, and I died almost 20 times on the final screen in the process. This is by far the hardest thing I've done in platformer mode yet, and I'm immensely proud of this achievement. I have no plans to improve this time, so good luck to anyone that attempts to beat it!
Note that the song is edited in, as I turned off the music to help me focus. This is also why there are no pulses. I felt like going for a top time on this level yesterday, and after a few hours of grinding I managed to get this run. This is the world record as of now, so that's pretty cool (edit: this isn't WR anymore). Special thanks to @FinIey for showing me the most optimal route possible, as well as @Wh1t3Bl4d3 for the skip at 0:38. I probably won't attempt to improve this record any further, since there's barely any time left to save at this point.
2.2 is incredible so far, and I've been having a ton of fun messing around with all the new features. I also bought a 240hz monitor recently, and it's boosted my enjoyment of the update even more. I don't have plans to beat any list demons at the moment, especially since a lot of them are broken now, but that might change once the physics bugs are fixed.

When MindCap first approached me about his brand new project in early 2020, I was super excited. Not only was it a memory demon, my favorite type of level, it had a stacked creator roster and a sick color scheme. And on top of all that, he was giving me the opportunity to verify it! I accepted instantly, and over the course of the next few months I eagerly waited as the first few parts came together. Unfortunately, things didn't quite work out as planned, and in early-mid 2021 I dropped the level for various reasons. Its fate was uncertain at this point, due to MindCap's absence from the community, but eventually he made his return and development resumed. The level was finished in late 2021, and BGram managed to pull through with the verification about a year later. My interest in Limbo had dwindled after dropping it, but when I saw that it was finally released, I decided to give it a try.
Before I could start doing runs, I had to learn all the parts, which was a very daunting process. Luckily this didn't take too long, and I surprised myself afterwards with some fast progress, getting 31-100% in a little under a week. My motivation started to dip around this time, though, as the first 30% of the level is extremely difficult to get consistent at. It felt like I had finally hit a wall. After struggling with this section for a few more days, I decided to take an indefinite break from Limbo, but I promised myself that I'd return to it at some point over the summer.
Once my summer break started, I came back to the level right away. It still felt slightly out of reach for me, but I knew that I could do it if I committed to it. Sure enough, I was finally becoming more consistent, and sometime in early June I got a new best of 48%, as well as a 27-100% run. Unfortunately, I lost nearly all of my motivation shortly after this, and my progress slowed to a crawl as a result. I could no longer play the level for long periods of time without getting bored, and eventually I stopped playing it altogether. There's a good chance that I would've kept sitting on it until the end of my break if it weren't for Cobrablitz's Slaughterhouse completion in early August. Most extreme demon completions don't mean much to me anymore, probably because I've witnessed hundreds and hundreds of them over the years, but this one felt different. Seeing Cobra overcome his own struggle was very inspiring to me, and I believe this gave me the motivation I needed to finish Limbo once and for all.
I returned to the level once again on the 12th, and this time I was determined to beat it no matter what. Despite how inactive I'd been, my consistency was just as good as ever, and I managed to pull off a crazy 18-100% run the same day, as well as a new best of 49%. These runs motivated me to keep playing Limbo even more than I already was, and the very next day the unthinkable happened: I died at 89% as a fluke from 49%. This death was devastating, and the failed fluke made it hurt even more. I knew I had to keep going, though, since my summer break was about to end. Getting back to the second half proved to be a massive struggle, and my confidence was beginning to falter, but on the 18th a miracle happened. On this day, out of nowhere, I managed to beat the level. It feels like my entire GD career has lead up to this moment, and I couldn't be more proud. Special thanks to all my friends, as well as everyone that's supported me over the past few years. I love this game and I'll never forget the impact it has had on my life.
With that all out of the way, there are a few important things I should mention. You may have noticed that there are no pulses at all, and that is because I beat this with no music (the song was edited in). I recently discovered that if you set the in-game music slider to zero, your input delay will decrease by a noticeable amount. This may sound like it's placebo, but I promise that it's not. I've always been able to play levels just fine without audio, so when I discovered this trick, I decided to take advantage of it to make my Limbo experience a bit easier. Additionally, I was in a call when I beat this, but the call audio has been edited out. You can hear me press my deafen key at 2:27. Lastly, I had to lower the volume of my reaction since it was really loud, which is why it sounds like there's a cut at 3:20 (even though this isn't actually the case).
This is my last 2.1 completion, and my last 144hz completion by extension, since physics are going to work differently in 2.2. I don't have any plans for when the update comes out, but I'll definitely still be around in the community regardless. See you all then!

Here's a quick rundown of all the strategies I used, in case anyone watching wants to try this for themselves:
- Get a bed immediately and sleep through every night
- Find a village as soon as possible; trade sticks/wheat for emeralds, trade emeralds for bow/arrows/enchanted books
- Enchanted books are optional, but Looting and Power can speed things up a lot; if you go for these enchants, you'll need to mine a lot of extra iron for an anvil
- Avoid open caves at all costs; underwater caves are the safest way to get ores
- Mine at least 3 diamonds for a pickaxe; you'll want to bring an extra 10 obsidian to the Nether for a return portal
- Bastions and piglin trading in general should be avoided (unless you find a bastion with easily accessible gold like I did)
- The safest way to get blaze rods is to tunnel underneath the spawner and make a pit for blazes to fall in; note that this method is extremely slow, and unless you have Looting it can take upwards of an hour to get all the rods you need
- Warped forests are the best place to farm pearls, although villager trading is another option if you'd rather play it safe
- You can walk through the stronghold as long as you're careful, but tunneling above the portal room is the easiest way to avoid silverfish
- Wearing a carved pumpkin in the End means you won't have to worry about endermen; use F1 to make the mask effect disappear

As mentioned earlier, my summer break ends very soon, and I'm starting college in about a week. My free time and motivation to play video games will most likely tank once that happens, meaning this may very well be my last (difficult) completion in this game. If that turns out to be the case, I'd like to thank everyone for sticking with me throughout all these years. I'm very happy with what I was able to accomplish as a player, and I'm very grateful for all the support you guys have given me.
Lastly, for those curious, my best runs on 144hz were 52%, 23-78%, and 46-100%. I doubt I'll ever have the time or motivation to attempt this again on 144hz, but it's definitely doable and I hope someone pulls it off one day.

Celeste is a platformer about climbing a mountain that came out in 2018. There are eight main chapters, as well as a ninth that was released as DLC in 2019. The first eight chapters each have three separate “sides”; the B-Sides can be unlocked as you play through the A-Sides, and the C-Sides unlock after all B-Sides are completed. Golden strawberries are collectibles that unlock at the same time as the C-Sides. They can only be obtained by completing a chapter without dying. There are three golden strawberries in each of the first eight chapters (one for each side), as well as a single golden strawberry in the ninth chapter. There's also a special golden strawberry that can be obtained by completing the first chapter's A-Side without dashing a single time, bringing the total amount of goldens to 26.
Two of these goldens have edited audio: The Summit B-Side (aka 7b) and Farewell. While playing 7b, I turned off the music in order to focus, and had to edit it in afterwards. This was easy enough to do, and the resulting video should sound completely normal. In Farewell's case, though, I was listening to my own music during the successful attempt, and therefore had to replace the existing audio entirely. There are no sound effects for this reason, and some of the transitions between tracks may be weird, although I tried my best to make the music as natural-sounding as possible. (There are a few minor details that I chose not to include because they would've taken too long to edit in.) I should also clarify that the strawberry count that shows up every time I collect a golden doesn't represent the actual order that I did them in. My main save had most of the goldens by the time I started recording this video, so I used a modified save to make all goldens appear as uncollected. Lastly, I chose not to skip any cutscenes in the A-Sides so that people unfamiliar with the story can follow along with it.

This was a wild ride for me. I started this about a week ago with the intention of finally topping my previous hardest after a year. This level felt really intimidating at first, and it took me a while to work up the confidence to play from 0%. Eventually, though, I began to get incredibly consistent at the first half, and after getting to TMN a few times I somehow fluked all the way from 63% to 90%. The very next morning, a similar run happened out of nowhere, except I died at 94% this time. These deaths really shook me up, but a few hours later I sat down and began playing once again. The grind that ensued is probably one of the best sessions I've ever had in this game consistency-wise; I managed to pass Failure a total of 7 times within the course of two hours, and even died at 75% just a few minutes before the completion attempt. Overall, I'm very happy with how my Zodiac experience went, and I feel like I'd be much more confident playing levels in this difficulty range now. As always, thank you guys for your continuous support.
I'm sure some people will question my attempts, so I'll try to elaborate on them a bit. A few months ago, I had to get 28% for the roulette, and unfortunately I didn't check how many attempts that took me, so the 1k extra attempts at the end are an estimate (assuming I took a few hundred for the roulette + another few hundred from messing around back when the level came out). This means that the number 5.8k is a bit of a placeholder; my actual attempts most likely fall somewhere between 5.5k and 6k. If you don't want to believe this number, that's fine. I wish I could prove that I'm telling the truth, but there isn't really any way for me to do that.

Silent Club is a 1.6 level that was created by Play 1107696 (aka blackP2Sfull) and uploaded on April 1st, 2014. It was quickly rated, and soon rose to notoriety, for good reason. Its difficulty far outclassed most levels at the time, with a few exceptions such as unnerfed Stereo Demoness. Over the course of the next year, little to no progress would be made on this level, mainly due to hardware limitations and players not being skilled enough. Sadly, Silent Club was unrated in early 2015 for unclear reasons, possibly because Cyclic discovered a (fake) secret way at the beginning. It's also possible that Rob unrated it simply because it was obviously hacked. Either way, the level faded into obscurity for quite some time after this. Despite being the inspiration for one of the biggest series in the game, the silent series, Silent Club itself was forgotten for the most part. Although a handful of rebalanced versions would eventually be verified, such as Superex's version, none of these retained the infamous orb spams between 44% and 52%. These spam sections are so stupidly inconsistent that they discouraged people from attempting the unnerfed version for over six years.
I stumbled across this level by chance when I was younger, and I've been intrigued by it ever since. I considered attempting it a few times, and last year I finally decided to give it a shot after getting a new mouse. In October, I managed to beat this on the 1.9 private server after weeks of grinding, making me the first victor of the unnerfed version. I wasn't entirely satisfied with this achievement, though; it felt like the level had yet to receive closure. A few months later, I approached Viprin about Silent Club to see if a fixed version had any chance of getting a rate in 2.1. To my surprise, he said yes, and even guaranteed that it would be rated if verified legitimately. The thought of Silent Club being on the list was more than enough motivation for me to come back to it. Unfortunately, I was dealing with major arm problems at the time, and had to postpone the verification process for a while as a result. Thankfully, my arm pain eventually went away (for the most part), and earlier this month I began grinding the level once again. After a few days of uneventful sessions, and just one death at the 50% spam this time, this lucky attempt came out of nowhere. It's amazing to see this rated again after being unrated for so long, and I'm glad I was able to make such a cool contribution to the game. Best of luck to anyone who attempts this.
This version fixes the layered orbs from 46% to 50%, which no longer work properly thanks to 2.1. Although the original version is technically still possible, it requires ridiculous click patterns that were clearly not intended by the creator (you have to triple click at two of the orbs), so I figured it made sense to verify a fixed version instead. I also fixed a secret way at the last ship that allowed you to slip through the saws at the top and bottom, skipping the corridor altogether. This wasn't possible in 1.9, but at some point Rob made saw hitboxes smaller for whatever reason. (There's another secret way at the very end that involves jumping over the ship portal, but I chose not to fix it as it's always been possible and requires a tight timing anyway.) You can still play the original version by turning on the LDM; this reverts the orb fixes and the secret way fix.
As for difficulty, this felt harder than Bloodlust for me. However, I'm not the best at spam, and this level is incredibly skillset based, so realistically it could end up anywhere from #10 to #30 on the list. I'd be surprised if it doesn't place somewhere in the top 20, though.

About the level itself, the gameplay is outstanding. It’s similar to Kowareta in the sense that it feels impossible at first, but eventually becomes very consistent. There aren’t really any obvious flaws that I noticed; if it weren’t for my dumb fails in the second half and some minor arm pain, my enjoyment would’ve been 9/10 or even 10/10. The decoration is nothing special, but still deserving of a rate for sure, so hopefully that can happen soon. As for difficulty, I think this could place in the high 20s, somewhere around The Yandere.

Now that I've beaten this, I'll be going on hiatus from the game for a bit. I've been dealing with major finger/arm pain for the last few weeks, and it doesn't seem to be getting any better, so my only option appears to be taking a break from extremes for a while.

My expectations were pretty low when I started this, but it ended up being much more fun than I anticipated. The balancing is pretty bad, with the first 20% being miles harder than the rest of the level, but since most of the parts get consistent this wasn't too big of an issue. I managed to get incredibly lucky with the second half as well, fluking from 57%, which is great. Audio was edited in due to vacuum cleaner noises in the background.
This is also my last 2020 completion. Thank you guys for making this year an incredible one for me (GD-wise)!

- The ship is stupidly hard, especially compared to the parts before it.
- The wave is incredibly hard to learn and the decoration makes it nearly impossible to see where to go. One section in particular at 46% has a really awkward click pattern.
- The second half has tons of spam, especially the ball, which has some very questionable orb timings.
- I got pretty unlucky, dying over 20 times past the wave and around 10 times at the ball. Fortunately, I only died once at the robot.
Even though I didn't enjoy this level's gameplay that much, I will say that the idea behind it is pretty interesting. I personally wouldn't recommend this, but other victors have enjoyed it, so feel free to give it a shot if you want.
