[100th video!] Fancy Hidden Enchantment Table w/ Téo
updated
Today selulance and I played around with Cubehamster's idea for slimeblock cartridges. Our design turned out pretty small and neat, but it's a little slow.
The design can be found on selulance's plot on cubekrowd.

Today I have a working version of snake, made with survival redstone. Moreover, I decided not to use pistons or observers either in this build.
Apologies for some weird UI in the video, apparently Nvidia thought it was a good idea to make that part of the recording...
I also tried to script things a little bit for the explanation, rather than just rambling about. It does unfortunately sound a bit bad, as I was pretty much just reading it off, but I hope the explanation itself was clear.
You can find the world download here: mediafire.com/file/xu69o4zd7wqrx5b/Snake.rar/file

Today I have fixes for 2 of the builds I noticed that broke in 1.16;
00:00 Hidden enchanting table
01:40 4x4 flush door
So uh, turns out (I think) I never made a proper tutorial on the bottom of that 4x4, only a previous version... So the second part of the video is quite useless haha. I might make a proper tutorial for this version of the 4x4 flush some day, because it's actually one of my favorite builds.
I also wanted to briefly comment on the 1.16 redstone changes and my opinion. So I personally am in favor of the changes, and wouldn't mind bigger changes either, in order to make redstone more consistent. But of course I am not doing a lot of redstone myself anymore nowadays, so I wouldn't be affected by it very much. My opinion is mostly based on my experience with software development, where unexpected behavior can easily lead to big issues in a product. But of course Minecraft is just a game, so there is less of down side in that regard. People even argue that these inconsistencies make redstone more fun, because there is more to be learned. I am not entirely sure whether I agree personally, but the argument itself seems valid. Certain behavior however, like 1 ticking to spit out blocks, I would hate to see disappear.
Today I have a clean animation version of this awesome build I say the other day by ilmango:
youtube.com/watch?v=HgYXgQLFlUo
His version is tilable however while mine isn't. I tried making it tileable at first but it proved too difficult to make it both clean and tileable for me. Especially since I haven't done any wiring in a while.
Also sorry for all the noise, bad settings :/

Today I have a new concept for you guys, it is similar to tiling multiple 3x3 doors behind one and another, but with a fancier animation. That's about all. Oh, and I might have a new microphone (headset), I am not sure if I already had it in the last video.

Today I have this 3x3 double rail door for you. I made 2 designs, both with 3 other people. I think the second design is nicer, but I liked both so thought it was worth showing both.

Today I don't really have much of a new built of my own, but several designs made by different people, that all achieve the same goal. A while back, a bunch of people worked on this thing, and I thought it was quite interesting to see how we worked together and kept improving the designs. I picked the most important designs from the development to show in this video. I had the idea to make this video for a while already, but never got around to it.

Today I made my own version of mumbo's paint program.
I wired everything up a bit more directly, so it is quite a nit neater in my opinion.
Also apologies for the sound, I clearly put the microphone to close to my mouth/nose.

Today I have a video that I made some months ago, and kind of forgot to upload. I have now started university so I do in general have even less time for minecraft.
I will probably make some things occasionally tho :)
Note; where I said 'You want the redstoneblock in this position when it is closed' at the 1 wide design, that was entirely wrong...? you want it to be opposite, it should be in that position when opened.

Today I have a tutorial for my new hidden enchanting table that I made together with SacredRedstone.
For usage in 1.16 see this tiny fix: youtu.be/HJx4DOiqwQE?t=26
item list:
-repeater: 20
-redstone: 15

Today I present you my updated version of the hidden enchanting table.
The design got about twice as small, and is now only 324 blocks in volume.
It has gotten a bit more expensive however, because it contains quite a few observer blocks.
This video itself was made by Selulance, as he felt like editing, and I didn't. So that was quite convenient.

Also, apologies for the non-interactive end screen. I did not realised annotations have been removed.
And the video was not set up to work with the fancy new end screen things on youtube.

Today I have this full flush 3x3 door.
It was made together with MDP87 and yop_tropix.

second channel: youtube.com/channel/UC8mMfKO6VC-dpCNmbDSRolA
Today I have this really small hidden fence gate. It is a modified version of the one MDP and yop made, I managed to shave a layer off. I am however certainly not the first to do this size, Rien_san/Iyra had already made it before me. And this design does unfortunately require a wooden button, the stone button gives a pulse that is too short.

today I have a door I made together with yop_tropix.

Today I have a commandblock version of wireworld for you.
I made this a couple of months ago, and fixed the commands to work with the latest version of minecraft(1.11).
I have recorded this video on Selulance's private server, so I would have higher fps.
If your pc has trouble running all the commands, hosting the world on a server can help.
I made this beause Redstone Jazz's version doesn't work anymore.

Today I have this simple 3x3 button operated door. It is nothing special, I do like the animation quite a bit however.
I am not sure if this can be compacted easily, it is a bit of a shame about that third layer. I did not know how to power that piston in another way however.
second channel: youtube.com/channel/UC8mMfKO6VC-dpCNmbDSRolA
Today I have this in depth video about wireworld and game of life. I tried to remove noise from the audio this time, didn't work that well tho unfortunately. I hope some of you will enjoy this video none the less.

Today I finally have a new video. This video has been finished for a couple of months, but I never uploaded it. I made wireworld only 2 days after releasing Game of Life, after someone mentioned the idea in the comments. The video isn't too great, but I will release the in depth video in a couple of days(a video that has been done for months too).
I have also made a command block version of WireWorld, but it could take a while before I release the video on that.

Today I have the game of life for you! I made this a while ago, but was waiting untill someone could make an awesome video for it.
I made a first prototype myself, after which I asked selulance to help with making a cleaner version.
The simulation obviously doesn't run as smoothly in game as in the video.
In theory you could do 1 cycle per second, but as there is so much redstone, it will be slower due to lag.
I hope you enjoy it!
Make sure to check out Space Does Redstone too, he has some cool redstone contraptions and has recently started making some epic editrs for them.

today I have this recreation of etho's nexus 2.0. I got my information about his nexus from his letsplay, so I might have missed some details. Also, there is quite a big chance this won't work in the near future as it was made in a snapshot. The version in which I made this was: 16w41a. Make sure to let me know if you want a tutorial!
Also, don't count on my improved storage system, I often don't finish big projects.

Today I have my first prototype of an shulkerbox item querier.
It searches for an item in shulkerboxes, and sorts the shulkerboxes this way. This can have several applications, but the reason I made it is because I want to design my own storage system, similar to Etho's.

Today I have a little demo. I wanted to record the in depth video about the mechanics too, but had too little time :(. That video will probably come around the end of next week.
Also as you might have noticed, I used a resourcepack here to highlight the lamps. This resourcepack is now included when you download the map.

Today I finally release my 1k subspecial. It is this sweet minesweeper game, with an awesome video by KPkiller to go with it. The game uses survival redstone only and is pretty compact.
It is reaaaally laggy though, mainly when reseting it. For this reason I have included multiple boards in the map, which have all been randomized. So after playing a game, you can hit the tp button to tp to a reset game.
This game includes the following features:
-Revealing neighbours when revealing a 0
-Win detection and indication
-Lose detection and indication
-Flagging of cells
-Adjustable mine count
-Fully resetable

sorry for not uploading in a while, but I have had some troubles with my software and that in combination with not really having anything to upload anyways..., well made me not upload. Also sorry for the audio, I believe it is even a bit worse than in my older videos, will have to tweak some settings. And I also noticed that obs cuts of the recordings a sec before I press the button, that is why i said 'to the tuto..'.
Anyways, this is a instant repeater I made with selulance after xDeathWing said he needed an instant repeater that supports pulses. The deactivation cooldown is 0 ticks (meaning that you can send any pulse length) and the activation cooldown is about 3 ticks(meaning that you have to wait 3 ticks inbetween pulses).
aaaalso, I have hit 1000 subs by now! KPkiller is working on a epic video for the special atm. And I think you will also like the content of that video, not only the vid itself :)

Today i have finally got around to making another video. I planned on making a better video for this machine, but i decided on keeping it simple as i would propably never make/finish it otherwise.
So this machine is a turing machine, this is not the same as the decoder computer of Alan Turing ,which is called Bombe. This defenitly isn't the most effecient computer, but it can be programmed for multiple purposes. So if you are wondering; 'why wouldn't you use a normal adder', it is because this thing can do more than only adding.
it is just a proof of concept, as with most things from minecraft ingeneral, it doesn't have any real use. Which i didn't make clear in the video is that all the programs work for an infinite amount of bytes softwarewise, but ofc the size of the tape limits it. But this does mean, that the machine could add two 32-bit values for instance, although that would probably take like 2 hours or so.

today I have an improved version of the blockswapper wich xisumavoid showed, there actually wasn't too much to improve.
but i did manage to remove the slimeblocks, make it slightly
smaller and make it truly instant.

today I have this really fast hipster door for you guys. Me and selulance got inspired to make this because we saw a really fast 3 wide hipster from nomnomcookie, and decided to figure out a fast design for a 2 wide hipster. Teo also helped with fitting in the last monostable aswell. it takes 10 ticks to open but the closing is quite slow. this is because the opening reacts instantly, but the closing takes about 6 ticks to react and because of that the closing takes around 10 ticks too. the door is really big though but if you want a tutorial anyways, just tell me!
