Take one or more ingame screenshot(s) in double F5 mode of 3 subjects:
- Of yourself wearing a fancy hat (Wearing a helmet with an armor trim or colored leather cap)
- Of yourself, while riding an entity
- Of yourself, being within 4 blocks distance to a hostile enemy. The enemy has to have aggro on you, passive endermen don't count. The entire face of the enemy must be visible in the photo.

COMMENTARY:
Before results came out:
This task seemed to be pretty linear. The only armor trim even remotely close to spawn is in the temple, and there are no convenient caves to spawn endermen for pearls. You also need at least 2 wood to make the smithing table, and the pillager outpost was the closest source. So I was only able to think of this one route. Due to how simple it is, I doubt it'll be close to winning.
My first entry spawned a creeper in the upper part of the temple to clear the blocks, but the task hosts considered this to be an invalid strategy, so I had to update it in the least effort way possible (and probably still the fastest).
The least optimal parts of this are the camel mounting (its AI was very stubborn so I settled for it not walking towards me) and probably the general movement across the terrain.
After results came out:
I managed to place a lot higher than I predicted. The route was pretty good, but there was a lot more variety than I expected. Some of the submissions are things I wouldn't have ever thought of. Go check out the results video and see for yourself.

These maps have been on my to-do list for a while, and since it's a tradition to run series of mini-maps on the holidays, I figured this was a good time to do it. These three maps each require you to collect three wool blocks, an iron block, and a gold block. The routing for these maps was pretty straight-forward, but I got to use some interesting strategies. I spent a combined 15-20 hours on these runs, so they shouldn't be too hard to beat if you want to take a crack at them.

I figured that I would be able to run this game while still making Minecraft content to maintain consistent uploads. Unfortunately, I became too invested in grinding out BFBB to make content on the side, but now that this is over, I can go back to focusing on the game I'm actually relevant for.

Explanation of my setup (based off Alaskaxp2's speedrun setup):
1. Use right handed manual mode.
2. Aim towards the peg shown in the video.
3. Have your right arm down at your side with the remote facing the ceiling.
4. Start holding B and wait for about a quarter of a second.
5. Shoot your hand up as if you're raising your hand. At the same time, turn the remote counterclockwise so that it's now facing the floor. Release B near the end of this motion (but make sure you're not waiting until after you're done).
The lack of the pro ball may or may not affect this setup.

In this video, I speedrun Minecraft 1.2 in peaceful mode with no mods and no cheats. Explanation for the glitch at 3:20:
A lava block essentially has 2 parts to it. There is a 0.8 block wide region that acts as the liquid itself, and the entire block which just sets you on fire. On servers with certain plugins, the outer regions of the lava blocks don't have any effect on you, so if you are at the edge of the block you're standing on, you can just walk through the lava. I use the F3 menu to line myself up because I need to stay within the 0.1 block margin the whole time. Note that you simply can't jump around the lava blocks instead because the plugins kill you if your entire hitbox is above the void at any point.

In this video, I speedrun the Set Seed Glitchless category of Minecraft. This run uses the most recently discovered seed (Vine Seed) which eliminates flint RNG, making the run more consistent. The world record for the category is 1-51 by Rayoh, and close behind are MagneticMaybe and HanabiYaki. But the fastest time for the Vine Seed specifically is 1-58 by ripfc. This video is about a 1.16 or 1.16.1 RSG (Random Seed Glitchless) Minecraft Speedrun / Speed Run, like what Dream used to do. This is a documentary / video essay / analysis (not a World Record / WR analysis, just a Personal Best / PB analysis) about a sub 15 minute speedrun by Thannus. This video was inspired by channels such as The Weekly Thing (TWT) and PikaJ. Info:
The S+Q upwarp glitch is an effect of the client-to-server merge that took place in Minecraft 1.3 and works up until 1.4.2. By obstructing the space which the player is currently occupying and then reloading the map, the game places the player at the lowest available 2-block-high space above the player's current position.
In singleplayer, this glitch only works inside spawn chunks, but the spawn chunks can be extended by placing a chest at the chunk boundary, which I do at 2:57.
This exploit is banned in vanilla speedruns because it requires quitting the map, but as of January 2020, it is allowed under Super Hostile / CTM speedrunning rules.

I switched to 1.8 because the amount of resets it took to get a playable seed in 1.7 was making it frustrating to grind out.
