Humoresque of a Little Dog, also known as "Buy something, will ya?" or simply as "The Drug Store theme", is a tune which appears in all three games of the Mother series.
This tune clearly aims to represent the American culture as blatantly as possible, and it successfully manages to do so. In fact, this piece is one of the most recognizable themes in the Mother Series. In EarthBound, "Humoresque of a Little Dog" can be heard throughout drug stores all over the game world.
To further amplify the "american vibe" of this tune I chose to include in my cover two main styles: Ragtime and Country/Folk.

I want to start by thanking anyone who watched this video, which is an unusual one other than being the first after roughly a year. With this one I decided to step out of my comfort zone to actually collab with someone for the first time! I want to thank @ProducerPlayer2 for reaching out and providing the opportunity for the collab, and being super flexible and easy to work with! This was a step out of the comfort zone for both of us and I really like the outcome!
The video itself is different than usual, guitar isn't hugely present in the arrangement and I didn't think my usual setup would fit well. We wanted to make something that fused our styles a little, and you'll definitely hear my writing style, especially with strings and woodwinds, coupled with some energetic percussion work by Player2!
I like Zelda music because I feel like it's always gonna be recognizable no matter the arrangement - we wanted to celebrate Tears of the Kingdom and I really hope you'll like the outcome as much as me!

It's good to be back, and this cover of Teknopathetic from Jet Set Radio Future really feels like a nice way of restarting my activity on Youtube. As you can see, I've made some changes in terms of overall look, and the arrangement itself is pretty different too!
This is my first time using lyrics, so I wanted to focus on them in the video as well. Believe it or not, I chose to cover this track because the lyrics spoke to me, although I've made some changes to make things more personal and authentic to how I was feeling. Not sure if it shows or not, but this track reflects a lot of feelings I've been dealing with lately and it's my way of expressing them, so it's pretty important on a personal level. In any case, hope you like it!
Big thanks to a dear friend who kindly recorded the female vocals so I could sample them! You can find more of her music at: https://spoti.fi/3FOP4Pp

#shortsTip of the Spear - Halo Reach | Game & SoundGame & Sound2021-12-07 | To celebrate Halo Infinite's launch, here's my cover of Tip of the Spear from Halo Reach! Classic Halo games offer so many beautiful track to choose from, and I had a hard time coming up with only one to cover. Halo tracks are also tightly arranged, so I wanted to be careful in choosing a track that could fit my style better, in order not to disrupt the original arrangements too much. Tip of the Spear (Unreconciled) fits the bill in this regard, and also incorporates motifs from the Main Theme, so it really looked like the best choice. Hope you like it!
The original track was of course composed by the great @TheMartyODonnell and Michael Salvatori. Thanks for your amazing work!
