This is now my hardest Celeste achievement, and gaming achievement in general, surpassing Allegiance in Geometry Dash.
I started playing Celeste at around January 2022, quit for a few months, then really started playing full on in June 2022. I got into modded Celeste after beating Farewell, specifically Spring Collab. I saw the hardest map in it, the New Grandmaster Heartside. I was amazed by how it looked and fell in love with it almost instantly, but of course as a new player, I thought it was impossible and that I'd never do it.
Around that time, I discovered Parrot Dash, one of the top players in the community, and she was grinding NGMHS golden. I watched her streams almost daily, whether live or rewatching the VODs (missed the winning completion live sadly).
Her grind encouraged me to push through SC and not too long after, I beat NGMHS myself. Even then, I thought about wanting to golden it, but I knew it was way too far out of reach, especially because of Flag 2.
My friend Raisha eventually told me something: Flag 2's tornado tech was just 4 backboosts in a row. It's quite obvious in hindsight, but I actually tried F2 way before I reached NGMHS legit (I was in intermediate), so I learned tornado completely wrongly, not realizing they were backboosts. After this newfound knowledge, F2 became much more possible and I could rebeat more reliably.
After completing SJ and doing multiple hard list and golden list maps and playing NGMHS once in a few months, I eventually decided to just go for the golden. This was in mid March 2024. Learning was going well, though F2 still proved to be really difficult, especially tornado and final chain. The rest of the flags felt quite doable, just needed to play them more to get consistent.
When I eventually went for runs, I did quite well. I made it to Flag 5 on my first session, Flag 2 twice on my second session, and then Flag 1 once on my third session. I made it to F1 on my third ever F2 entry (fifth F3 entry), and both my F2 entries died to the first corner boost, before tornado. This meant that I fluked basically everything in F2. This gave me so much confidence that I could do it relatively fast.
Well, it only went downhill from there. A very steep downhill. I started getting extremely unlucky, dying to every flag waaaay too many times. I had 10 deaths to F1, choking every time I got there. My third F1 death wasn't even my fault, I died to the 1/27 chance that you just clip through the jelly. F2 started treating me terribly, especially tornado. It was terribly inconsistent, I had to change the way I did tornado at least 5 times and it still felt completely RNG. The middle (easy) part of F2 also kept killing me, probably due to my nerves. Final chain was surprisingly fine, until it wasn't. It started killing me a lot in the latter half of my grind. The other flags also weren't treating me very well, I kept dying to silly mistakes. F3 in particular had a wall bounce that was quite precise, and I missed it quite often, either going ever slightly too late or early (It was still better than the strat most people used though, for me).
I did so many runs to the end, from F4, F5 and even F6. My F6-end run even ended up becoming a hybrid 0 death.
It felt like a neverending grind. I was starting to lose hope, but luckily I pushed through. On 30 April 2024, I finally got the golden. I ended up having _114_ F3 entries when I finally got it (Reminder that I had _5_ F3 entries when I first got to F1).
Regardless of my astoundingly horrible luck in this golden, I still love this map so much. It's what got me into Celeste, and I'm forever grateful for its existence. I'm so happy I could call this my hardest gaming achievement.
Thanks so much to my friends in The Fridge for pushing me and sticking by my side while I was grinding this. Delta, Raisha, Melted and Bart especially, y'all are awesome! Thanks to Parrot for inspiring me to even get this far, her NGMHSG grind was so fun to follow. And of course, thanks to the Spring Collab team for making such an amazing map to finish off the collab!

Very fun map! It has a really nice difficulty curve, starting from low-mid expert and ends off in grandmaster difficulty. It's the easiest map in hard list, so I strongly recommend this for a first hard list map.
The map makes very unique uses of simple techs like wall bounces, hyper bunnyhops, mid air supers and more, and later on ultras. It manages to stay very fresh despite being over 70 rooms long, and it feels extremely satisfying to beat, especially in the later checkpoints where you go really fast. The moonberry room is also awesome, extremely unique concept, more maps should really make rooms like this!

The music in this map is one of my favourites, genuinely an awesome remix of the lobby music! I just wish the music just didn't break when you die past checkpoint 1, or if you debug from checkpoint to checkpoint (you can hear this in action in the beginning, where there is no music, so I had to restart the map). Flag 23 also breaks, where in a golden run you don't get infinite stamina when you're supposed to (you can also see this in the run, the bottom left icon indicates infinite stamina). In a normal run, you get the infinite stamina, but you end up carrying it for the entire map.
Despite these issues, this was still an amazing map, glad to have goldened it! (Also YOOOOO I hit all 3 frame perfect heart hits at the end of Flag 18 [at about 3:17], was my first time hitting them lmao)

Thoughts + stats for each flag (Time, deaths):
Flag 18 (0:19:34, 147): Cool start to the map, just regular FI gameplay
Flag 17 (0:22:35, 171): Very nice how they added most of the mechanics from the OG map, really enjoyed this!
Flag 16 (0:59:38, 577): I skill issued this really hard, but this was a great flag
Flag 15 (4:58:12, 5089): First chokepoint of the map and it's definitely such a chokepoint. Has very weird and mindblockable inputs, and kept doing things not in the OG map. Cool concepts, but not really a fan
Flag 14 (1:45:56, 944): Some stuff could be moved around a bit to be more consistent, but otherwise quite fun. Imagine if this flag had Theo lol
Flag 13 (0:50:28, 457): Excellent flag, such a blast to route and execute! WA never misses
Flag 12 (2:29:15, 2077): I like how they combined 2 sections of the OG map, kinda sad they didn't manage to add the 3rd though. Got very unlucky with this, and precision isn't my strong suit, so this was quite rough. Not bad though
Flag 11 (0:40:30, 455): This was actually such a banger flag lmao, especially the last 3rd! Really impressive considering I'm not the biggest fan of Cycle Madness
Flag 10 (3:23:49, 2754): Okay so, I somehow managed to die at the last dash cause I fat-fingered and dashed down instead of up into the Badeline orb, which made my experience really miserable (took almost 2h extra to beat it after). Despite that, the flag was honestly quite good, represented every section of the OG map well
Flag 9 (1:48:20, 953): It's quite awkward, doesn't flow as well as the OG map. Dreep's final room would've made for a better Heartside flag imo
Flag 8 (0:11:56, 90): The transitions into and out of this were so cool! Very fun to play, also really love how they added the dragon heart at the end. One of my favourite flags in this map, it's perfect
Flag 7 (13:04:31, 8619): This is honestly quite a good flag, but as for my experience, yeah. Horrible luck, died 7x past the last down dash bumper, with 3x to the last coost. Got it in 2 runs 10 hours before actually beating it. Gigantic chokepoint, incredibly hard mentally. Toughest experience since Flag 2 of Spring Collab's New Grandmaster Heartside
Flag 6 (1:42:13, 1646): Amazing flag! I love Nelumbo, and getting to play more of it is always a plus. Super fun to pull off, very consistent
Flag 5 (1:06:13, 791): I love how they added every section in the OG map in this flag, it's so good! It's okay that many of the OG map's techs were missing in this flag, would've made it too long and messy
Flag 4 (1:40:53, 1530): First move was annoying. Kept doing stuff not in the OG map, but that's fine, it's cool to do and is fun overall, very cool ending transition
Flag 3 (0:27:14, 256): Very funny how 3/4 greens were in Checkpoint 1, and this is here lol. Good flag, also funny troll
Flag 2 (4:16:16, 2871): Excellent flag, hard to learn but surprisingly gets quite consistent. Super fun and satisfying to pull off!
Flag 1 (5:07:50, 2711): The entry to this flag is just, wow. Spectacular. And that ending sequence, it's so beautiful. Flag itself was also very fun to execute despite cassette inconsistencies. My favourite flag by far!

This map was interesting, it is waaaaay harder that it looks. The map is littered with many 2-3 frames, a lot of which may not be obvious at first glance, due to the way bumpers work and also moonboosts, which are essentially just midair demohypers.
Wouldn't say I had the best experience with it, the map really hurt my fingers a lot. It was really hard to gain any sort of consistency with some of these rooms, I sorta just had to brute force my way through most of them. Still ended up dying at the final inputs of all the rooms lol, and then spending a few more hours to actually do the room (somehow died at the last dash in Lv. 09 Pumber lmao, took like 4 more hours to beat it afterwards).
I know it's not in the spirit of the map and would make it much easier, but I kinda wish that the moonboosts were made more lenient, maybe by adding jumpthroughs or just simply having better setups/cycles (looking at the last moonboost in Lv. 09 Pumber), because it was quite frustrating dying repeatedly at the end of rooms because I was a frame too low or too high. Those on top of the already inconsistent nature of bumpers made the map feel a bit too luck based.
Regardless, it wasn't the worst experience, I did have some fun with the map (when I wasn't getting mindblocked). Good luck to anyone else trying to beat this map!
(Oh also I didn't do the berries in order so the berry counts will be jumbled up lol)

I went into this already expecting the map to be like this so it ended up not being too frustrating. Honestly it felt quite fun lol, quite an entertaining experience to say the least.

This is the Grandmaster Heart Side, the final challenge in The 2020 Celeste Spring Community Collab. It consists of parts of levels in the Grandmaster lobby, the hardest difficulty lobby in the collab.
It's the hardest thing I've ever done in the game, and I'm super happy that I managed to get this done. Flag 2 was the biggest chokepoint ever, and it legitimately felt impossible, thank goodness I got the lucky attempt.
I was quite unlucky with this map, especially dying at the ending sections of Flag 2 and 1 like 10 times, but overall I really had a lot of fun with this. I love the concept of heart sides, combining multiple levels into one as a final challenge is an awesome idea, it's my favourite kind of map.
I got this clear together with my friend @DeltaPhantom1, we did the outro room and heart room together which is super cool! He also posted his clear in his channel, go check it out!
Below are the time stamps for each level section. (There is a splice at the very beginning of Flag 5 [4:05] because I couldn't get the full recording, but rest assured it's legit lol)

Hi guys!
It's been 1 year since the release of Vengeance, so I just wanted to release a little something its 1 year anniversary :D It's a video compiling all of the Rededication Series levels: Vengeance, Devotion and Retribution. Initially this was gonna be a longer video, diving deeper into the ins and outs of each level, but sadly I don't have enough time to do that. So instead, I condensed it into this small appreciation video, coupled with showcases for all the levels in the series.
Once again, thank you so much to Nikro for making the Dedication Series. It has inspired many people to create levels similar to them, including our Rededication Series. Hopefully you like it, we rededicate it back to you!
Also, thanks Solanine for helping to bot the levels, and EtVil for the amazing thumbnail!!
Timestamps for each level:

Etc etc mobile issue hardest parts are the 35 and 93 ships they can go remove themselves from existence (they also never got consistent) but tbh the level was kinda alright without those parts
Hilarious last ship fails:

I never lie
Got super lucky with the first run, I fluked from 26x3 (pretty much the whole buildup). Very unlucky with the second run though, died at the last part 10 times (91x3, 92, 93x2, 95x3, 96)
Really hope I can beat this it's super fun and would be cool as a jump from Allegiance

Level: Retribution by EtVil
(Will be updated more by Oreate)
Oreate made this part initially, however it needed to get replaced. So, I re-purposed some of his block designs and saws to make this part
Oh and DeltaPhantom is also somehow involved in this part, find out how next time when it gets released :D
(btw find retribution)

This is the first of 3 levels in a Dedication spinoff series - the Rededication Series. The second level in the series is Devotion by Domi77, and the third level is Retribution by EtVil. Devotion is not yet finished, while Retribution is finished but still unverified. Check out Devo's latest preview and Retri's final preview here!

After over a year, Vengeance has finally been verified. Thank you SO MUCH to Crumche for fixing all the inconsistencies and chokepoints in this level, and of course for verifying this, I am so thankful! It's so surreal to finally be able to release this! Please subscribe to Crumche here: youtube.com/channel/UCTIck2eYfIcA1PBE2vigliw
Special thanks to The Fridge and Slope Gang for supporting me in the creation of this level, and for generally being awesome friends. Thank you to Slithium, Dedva and Jif for giving this level a chance, despite them not being able to verify it, it still means so much to me. Thank you to my real life friends for being there since the very first time I started creating the level. And lastly, thank you specifically to Nikro for creating the Dedication series, and Domi77 for being one of the biggest supporters of my level, and also for creating the sequel to this, Devotion!
----------
Note: Nothing in this level was directly copy and pasted from Dedication, Allegiance or Renevant (Anathema isn't released as of yet). Anything that looks similar has been remade from scratch by me.
//This is by no means an official sequel.//
