Scar may have been a little bit nicer to the lions around him if he could make like Jefferson Airplane told us to and “find somebody to love.” Well, it turns out that Scar might have had a secret Queen the entire time that he was ruling over the Pride Lands; we just didn’t know it. While it could be just a theory, after looking into the history of The Lion King, it seems like Sarafina and Scar had a secret relationship before Simba returned to reclaim Pride Rock. Deluxe 2024-07-05 | Inside Out 2 Post Credit Scene...Deepest Darkest Secret's shocking surprise for us all...

Inside Out 2 added a ton of new characters to Riley’s psyche, including Anxiety, Ennui, Embarrassment, and Envy. But my personal favorite new addition happened to be the three secrets that Riley had hidden in the deepest part of her mind, specifically the big guy. Deep Dark Secret was a mystery up until the very final moments of the movie, literally. It wasn’t until the Post Credits scene that we got to see what Riley’s Deep Dark Secret actually was, and it turns out that it may have revealed more about Riley than anyone expected.

The Dark Role Scars GRANDFATHER Had In Scar’s Path To Becoming A Villain

Deluxe 2024-06-16 | How Scar’s Grandfather BRAINWASHED Him Into Becoming A Villain

Like most villains throughout history and media, there’s a good chance that Scar didn’t just become evil overnight. In fact, it probably took years to develop the intense anger and resentment that Scar felt toward Mufasa and his Pride in The Lion King. If Scar had been manipulated by someone else as some theories suggest, then he might have never even had a chance to be “the good guy” in his story. In a minute, I’m going to be exploring a theory that considers the idea of Scar possibly being brainwashed by his Grandfather into becoming a villain. This theory takes a mixture of facts and information taken from The Lion King movies, TV shows, books, and even fan fiction, so it’s worth noting that none of this should be considered 100 percent canon. As always, take everything in this theory with a grain of salt, and let’s have some fun!

Disney’s The Lion King was filled with fierce lions and even fiercer lionesses, with 3 arguably being the most dangerous big cats in all of the Pride Lands and beyond. I’m talking of course about Sarabi and Zira, the former Queen of the Pride Lands and former leader of the Outlanders, respectively. Even though the two never shared any actual screen time together, they both backed their Kings up with their sharp claws and were always ready for action. The REAL Reason Zira Hated Mufasas Pride So Much…

Deluxe 2024-04-28 | There's actually a darker reason that Zira hated the Pridelands so much in the Lion King, and it had everything to do with Scar and his choice in a mate...

The brief but seemingly impactful time jump between The Lion King and The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride gave fans a lot to ponder about the Pride Lands and the new mysterious, villainous lioness. Zira was cunning and intimidating enough to give even Scar a run for his money, but one thing that many fans couldn’t quite figure out was exactly WHY she hated Mufasa and now Simba’s pride so much. Well, thanks to The Lion Guard and a Deluxe theory, I think we’ve finally figured out what made Zira such a fierce foe, and where her hatred toward the Pride Landers came from.

One of the best parts of Pixar’s new trailer for Inside Out 2 is the fact that fans finally get a good look at ALL 4 of the new emotions that will plague Riley’s Command Center. While they all have their own quirkiness, like Embarrassment’s plumber’s crack and Envy’s adorable tiny size, there is one who surprisingly stands out more than the rest. Ennui, the emotion that you would NOT expect to be the most noteworthy, actually has something that separates her from the rest of the emotions in Riley’s head. Have you guessed it? She has a phone! Be warned though, there might be a shocking reason behind Ennui being the only emotion with a cell phone.

When Pixar finally released the trailer for Inside Out 2, they not only answered a bunch of questions that fans had about the movie, but also created a whole new mystery about the plot. I’m talking about the one character who seemed to be missing toward the climactic points in the trailer, even though she was one of the main focal points of the first movie. In the trailer, when they are shown locked up, all 5 of Riley’s Core Emotions are present. But then, when the same core emotions are floating toward destruction, there are only 4. So, I have to ask, where did Sadness disappear to?

In The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride, Disney fans were introduced to an entirely new Pride of Lions led by the villainous Zira and her children, Nuka, Vitani, and Kovu. The only thing is, many fans speculate that none of them were actually her cubs by birth. Well, if that theory turned out to be true, then there’s a good chance that one of the cubs in particular had a strong connection to Simba’s family. It’s starting to look like Vitani’s story might tell us the truth about what REALLY happened at Pride Rock before Simba returned.

Deluxe 2024-01-28 | Disney's The Lion King theory: The story of how Scar met his Hyena companions, and how they might have actually TRICKED him into thinking he was the one in charge...

Let’s get one thing clear right away: without any help from the Hyenas, Scar never would’ve been able to take over the Pride Lands successfully. They were the driving force behind his villainous rise to the throne. And without them, the relatively feeble lion wouldn’t have been able to maintain his position as king. That being said, a lot of fans still might not know exactly how Scar came to meet his loyal hyenas in the first place. Fair warning though, most of the ideas that Disney and fans have come up with can be pretty tragic, but I suppose that fits with Scar’s storyline in general, doesn’t it?

There’s no arguing that Maui had some of the coolest Tattoos in all of Disney, and when they danced around his skin they became even more mesmerizing. But one thing that Disney never took the time to explain was how Maui ended up with those tattoos in the first place, or, how they were able to move so freely. Well, after giving it some thought, it seems like Disney’s silence may have been influenced by the possible DARK origin of Maui’s tattoos. Tangled is by far one of the best adaptations of the Rapunzel story that exists! Although much like many retellings of the story, it took a lot of creative liberties to send a better message to the audience. You see, the story of Rapunzel doesn’t come from an old legend or fairy tale like many might believe. The character is based on an allegedly true story about a woman who would end up being referred to as a saint. That said, the true story of what happened to the real-life Rapunzel, whose actual name was Barbara, was much darker. And be warned, it does NOT have a happy ending.

When Disney first announced The Lion King, they chose to claim that it was Walt Disney’s first official ORIGINAL story, though many fans in the world know that this isn’t true. From being accused of taking inspiration from a Japanese manga turned anime named Kimba to fans suggesting that The Lion King was Disney’s version of Hamlet, almost everyone believes that the movie was at least inspired by a previous story. Well, it looks like that might be true, and to make things more interesting, it seems like that story might’ve been based on real history. Sadly though, the real story of The Lion King is much darker than Disney’s version.

In almost every version of The Beauty and The Beast, there have been two missing characters who have basically never been mentioned. I’m talking about the Beast’s parents. I mean, they were nowhere to be found before or after the curse that turned the Prince into a beast, and as far as fans got to see, he never even mentioned them to Belle. Sure, his mother and father made a brief appearance during a flashback in the live-action version, but that still didn’t add much information about them. The Heartbreaking Reason Scar Abandoned Nuka As A Cub...

Deluxe 2023-12-03 | Disney's The Lion King--The UNTOLD Messed Up Reason Scar Neglected Nuka

Did you know that before Kovu was ever born, there was a good chance that Nuka was the next in line to take over as King after Scar? But when push came to shove, everyone, mainly Scar, decided that the crown should fall onto the shoulders of Kovu, the main protagonist of The Lion King 2: Simba’s pride. Beyond that though, fans learned throughout the movie that Scar and many of the other lions that became known as the Outlanders had neglected Nuka, and continued to neglect him all the way up to his death in the film. And for a while, it just felt like that was sort of Nuka’s role in the movie. Looking back on it, there may have been an actual reason that Nuka was treated in such a horrible way. Be warned, it’s messed up.
