The walls between the sane world and that unplumbed dimension of delirium are tenuously thin here. π»π±π³πΊOr maybe I just have not slept in a long time and I am seeing shit.S' probably that. Happens. The game has issues, but also a lot of cool stuff going on for it at the same time. It is early access after all so I would imagine what we played here today is going to look very different down the line.Solid base though. This game captivated me even in its current state for most of my playthrough.Its around the 50th notification telling me my teammates hate each other is when they started to lose me. Thankfully it did not get that bad until the end.The art style grew on me very fast, the combat is the same level of fun its always been and has been expanded on without altering its core drastically. The walls built around the combat however have been torn down and rebuilt with a whole set of new mechanics to replace what we were all expecting.It works. I can't help but feel very restricted in how I go about things the way its all set up.To @RedHookStudios credit, they could have just gave us a few new maps, a new class and visual updates and called it Darkest Dungeon 2 and most of us would have been happy with that.Instead, they made, funny car game. πThat is pretty cool, I guess.I am very tired.What is really cool is how much stuff I called from the trailers! This was for sure the best part of the Directors Cut.I did not know most of this stuff was even a thing. Tons of awesome surprises.I can't wait to see what is next for Kojima Productions! It will be very interesting to see what comes after a game like this.The past few days have been a real grind to get this done but I am glad I was able to get through it. Playing it was great, editing took forever.Oh ya, I also recorded this whole thing through new software as a sort of test. If you remember I had that whole thing with El Gatos capture software freezing up randomly. Well, this new stuff I am using does not freeze and seems to retain the same image quality I lose when recording with OBS.So in short, I hope this looks good. I took a long break from Xenoblade because that games 720P and looks terrible through OBS when it really should be looking amazing in the DE.Still have not gotten around to testing it through this new software, but I have high hopes this will help make things look the best they can.I really hope so.Imma go cry and be sad for no reason idk πjk π€£ I am sorry dudes, I did not mean to prank you.
